Beware of John Howard’s Leadership

As a NSW citizen without any portfolio – I believe my governance power is based on my own contribution to ownership. Once we own we influence outcomes – even though we may not be conscious of it. The level at which my power works is close to policy level. When I therefore learnt that Mr Howard during whose tenure as Prime Minister, I suffered much discrimination pain – is now backing  Mr  Dominic Perrottet to become the next Premier of NSW – I felt upset. The news that  Mr John Barilaro – the current deputy leader was resigning, confirmed to me that Mr Howard’s negative karma was already impacting our government.

As per Sydney Morning Herald, Mr Howard stated the following about Premier Gladys Berejiklian:

[“I am very, very sorry that she is no longer the premier,” Mr Howard said.

“The whole state is grieving because people respected her decency and honesty, and they acknowledge that she has done a particularly good job in managing the pandemic. I really like Gladys, and it is a big loss that she is gone.”]

One of the contributions made by Premier Gladys Berejiklian, is the structure of her cabinet. In that structure, as Deputy Premier, Mr John Barilaro was the heir to the throne who would continue to uphold the heritage of Premier Gladys Berejiklian, until the Party in Parliament determines otherwise. That decision ought to have been without interference of past leaders.

During his time as Prime Minister, Mr Howard contributed to certain values which were positive to some and negative to others. Now we have elected leaders through whom our Energies would be added to manifestations of parallel outcomes.  If some of these leaders follow their predecessors – that has to be confidential. That is when the public would know that the current government produced the outcomes. By showing the leadership of former PM, - Mr  Dominic Perrottet has confirmed that has failed the criterion of ‘Demonstrated Current Value’ – essential in Democracy.

The Queen for example does not intervene directly in government affairs. But when the Queen learns about the government’s achievements and failures, the queen would take the truth in them on behalf of all the Kings and Queens in that position and this adds to the heritage that the Monarchy represents. If the Queen acted directly, her knowledge would be manifested at the lower level of relativity and would weaken the nation of its heritage power. Those who retire from active life are governors. Their powers work exponentially for those who believe in them.  Maintaining that belief is the sole purpose of governors. Towards this they need to have still mind.

By becoming Politically active and that too at a junior level structure – Mr Howard has confirmed that he is not a governor of NSW but has acted to dilute the heritage that Premier Gladys Berejiklian shares with us.

In Sri Lanka where Buddhism is a heritage – ignorant Political leaders added in the Constitution - ‘The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place’. This is relative value. Hence the need for strong Executive powers.

Mr  Dominic Perrottet also would need strong Executive powers to manage that which was natural to Premier Gladys Berejiklian – who now becomes a Governor of the Parliament also.
