Ask and you shall Receive the Death Penalty - LTTE style

This morning’s mail brought further defence of Mrs Vijayakala Maheswaran who is reported to have wanted the LTTE back.  The message goes as follows:

[My Special Friend Raja says "If you have not watched the full version here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ypADFR32ZQ&app=desktop
Media has left out Vijayakala statement on drug smuggling aided by Police / government politicians .
She asks a fair question why government cannot stop drugs if they could stop terrorism?
Watch 20 minute full clip or at least the last 10 minutes and then ask if we have not been taken for a ride by focusing only on "bring back LTTE" without considering the content."]

But the very President whom Mrs Vijayakala Maheswaran as Minister questioned has confirmed that he has been doing that very thing that Mrs Maheswaran was demanding – The Guardian confirms this as follows:

[Maithripala Sirisena, the Sri Lankan president, has told his cabinet he is ‘ready to sign the death warrants’ of serial drug offenders.]
Given that the President is by policy promoting Unitary State – this would apply also to Tamil areas . THAT is how the President has addressed the drug problem. Now it is up to the People to use the Government system to eliminate the drug menace in their own areas. That would confirm self-governance. By responding to the call – the President has not only confirmed that it is a Common problem but also that he has covered Jaffna also at policy level. One operating at primary level is bound to have difficulty reading at policy level.
If we leave aside rights and wrongs at the primary  level-and escalate our thoughts to the level of Dharma – as per the income earned by Mrs Maheswaran, the lady is part of the unitary structure by position. Her expressions and actions have to be passed through that structure. That was the lesson that Prince Arjuna learned from Lord Krishna – to have the strength to defeat  the holder of the leading position on the other side – even if that was Arjuna’s granduncle Beeshmar or Guru Thronaachchariyar. The individual  may not deserve that opposition but the position they held was part of the opposition that was negating the good by minorities. Whoever the occupier of that position is the one being challenged.
It was/is  the DUTY of Mrs Vijayakala Maheswaran to act as part of the Government and challenge the leaders in the war against drugs even if they are heirs of LTTE. The challenge is Energy that the LTTE leader contributed to the drug problem in North – especially in Jaffna where we have, in common, invested in higher intellectual pathway. As I have written in my (Tamil) book –
Jaffna is my Muthusum
the land holds our true heritage even where men and women may fail. Whenever someone is in true need – that Energy invokes Itself to support that person.  I had this experience at the University of NSW. I relied on my Truth – and where the Judiciary failed – the academic system opened the doors beyond local borders. Hence the publishing of ‘Naan Australian’ which is Sri Lanka’s contribution to Australian Equal Opportunity system. Likewise, the Jaffna Courts delivered a ‘fail’ outcome in a recent Testamentary case – based on Thesawalamai Law – but my faith in Jaffna system combined with my loyalty to Global Accounting Principles – brought me the outcomes that I am entitled to – through the Global Administrative system. That is how Dharma works beyond time and place borders. Only Truth as that power.
As elected member of Jaffna through UNP ticket – Mrs Maheswaran had/has the duty to bring out the Truth that is not in breach of the law. Mrs Maheswaran failed to do her duty but acted as if she was the Judge – using a ruling that she thought will give her the right ticks in that area.  As per the Doctrine of Separation of Powers between the Executive Government and the Judiciary – the Judiciary needs to use the Law first – intellectually also. The Executive needs to use the Truth and act without acting in breach of the law but not necessarily within the law as the Judiciary are required to.
I highlighted in December 2016 this breach by Mrs Maheswaran who said in Kilinochchi – under the heading ‘LTTE Infiltrating the Government?’ as follows : (at http://austms.blogspot.com/2016/12/gajalakshmiparamasivam-31-december-ltte.html)

[As per recent Asian Mirror  report ‘LTTE Leader Would Have Been Prime Minister By Now’:

‘State Minister of Child Affairs Vijayakala Maheswaran said that Velupillai Prabhakaran, the slain leader of the LTTE, would have been Prime Minister or at least a member of the government if he was alive now.
Speaking at a meeting in Kilinochchi yesterday, she said Prabhakaran was an exemplary leader and such a leader cannot be found among world leaders now.’]
Kilinochchi heritage is of a different form to Jaffna  heritage. THAT is the Truth that has been surfaced by Mrs Vijayakala Maheswaran. This has brought out the Truth about Sinhalese politicians who remained silent by then and are active now? Is it because of their desire for Jaffna powers?
The intellectual heritage of Jaffna will continue to invoke such built-in punishments / disciplinary actions – if during current times there is at least one higher thinking heir of Jaffna, in need of that support.
