IN THE DARKNESS OF MY SKIN

The above phrase came to my mind this morning. I take such messages to be the result of my intuition. Last night when I heard the news that the jury in the George Floyd case had delivered a guilty verdict against a white officer  for on-duty killing, my heart went out to the officer. I felt that this morning’s intuition was based on that. It felt as if one man was carrying the entire effects of revenge racism in America and wider world. The result could be escalation of drug related problems in America. America led the UNHRC Resolution against Sri Lanka in 2012:

[Resolution 19/2, 2012

Moved by the US, this resolution took note of the LLRC report, expressed concern that it did not address the serious allegations of violations of international law, and urged it to implement the “constructive” recommendations contained in it.] The Indian Express article ‘Explained: India at UN, on Sri Lanka’

The excess in George Floyd’s case was the parallel of abuse by soldiers during the war. As one Diaspora leader stated recently – between the LTTE and the government – the latter’s were on much larger scale. If scale matters to a mind, then majority rule also would be valid to that mind. Hence separation claim.

As per ABC report - the jury’s verdict in the George Floyd case failed to include the evidence by Dr David Fowler - that Mr Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died of a sudden heart rhythm disturbance as a result of his heart disease. Dr Fowler said the presence of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Mr Floyd's system, and possibly carbon monoxide poisoning from a car exhaust, were also contributing factors in his death last May.

"All of those combined to cause Mr Floyd's death," he said.]

That is scientific evidence, set aside to accommodate emotions.

As per the Universal law – one must believe in the law to be entitled to redemption through the law. When senior officers used lawyers to set aside subpoenas – so I could not examine them about processes – it was my belief that rendered me the insight into the system. I refused to question the junior officers because they were NOT responsible for structures and due processes. This automatically escalated my contribution to Universal level where the Energy – whether it be positive or negative leads us.

If the US race discrimination issue was so very negative – it had no moral authority to vote against Sri Lanka.

As per my ‘inside’ intelligence in Jaffna – the Jaffna folks continue to consider fair skin as being better looking. One woman admired the officers in the Court House. If this is also the case with Black Americans – then they become part of the problem of racism. The two issues ought to have been addressed separately in the case of George Floyd to prevent miscarriage of Justice.

When we consider ourselves to be juniors due to skin colour we confirm lack of belief in Equal Opportunity values. Then we infect others in a free environment to become our seniors or juniors alternately. Happens all the time between men and women. The danger in measuring these through Democracy is reverse discrimination as happened in George Floyd case. The victim is Justice itself. At this rate America would need more money to prevent isolation.
