Covid19 & ISIS

Truth is  Universal power. The end of Truth is Sovereignty. All just laws are towards upholding sovereignty of a group. It is the fundamental human duty of every mentally able person to uphold her/his sovereignty, including by separating oneself . I often do so with relatives who take senior positions with me including in my areas of expertise. I interact with them in the consciousness of not being their senior but their Equal. This separation is needed including by the Judiciary if it is to be independent of the voter elected government. Then we are naturally supported by the Global  powers of democracy and Universal powers of sovereignty.

Yesterday, the Sri Lankan President celebrated one year in office. His address to the nation was in Sinhalese. I looked for an English translation in the President’s website but could not find one. After some search, I found a translation by Colombo Gazette. To me, the latter is more Sri Lankan than the former.

The claim [The main appeal made by the people to me was to, “Protect the Country”] – suggests that to the President Sri Lanka is yet to achieve nationhood and therefore sovereignty.  This was further confirmed as follows:

[An administration that protects the rights of all citizens regardless of racial or religious differences will be established during my tenure. I have always acted in accordance with the pledge I made in front of Ruwanweli Maha Seya to protect the unity of the country and to safeguard and nurture the Buddha Sasana as per the Constitution, the supreme law of this country.]

The above is false in light of the rule of Cremation of covid19 deaths in spite of Constitutional protection:

The Constitution requires as follows through Article 9:

[9. The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(1)(e).]

Assuring all religions, including Muslims the following is a DUTY of the President to assure the common rights as follows :

14. (1) Every citizen is entitled to – (e) the freedom, either by himself or in association with others, and either in public or in private, to manifest his religion or belief in worship, observance, practice and teaching;

Burial of the dead is a religious manifestation of Muslims. As per my knowledge, the President is silent on this, in relation to Covid19 deaths. In his Colombo Telegraph article ‘Unreasonable ‘Covid-Cremation Policy’: Potentially Deadly Payback Would Be Enormous!’ Mohamed Harees highlights as follows:

[Repercussions of the current decision on mandatory cremation overweigh its intended objectives. It could defeat the ‘purpose’ and unleash an unintended horror. The call for a reversal of the cremation only policy is already triggering a fresh wave of Islamophobia within the majority community, upon the heels of an earlier wave of Islamabophia in the wake of the Easter Sunday attacks……..

Dr Channa Perera, Consultant Forensic Pathologist “attached to Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health” told the BBC World Service: the government has nothing against Muslims but they have a small fear about whether the virus can be used for unauthorised activities. Maybe an unwanted person could get access to a body and it could be used a biological weapon.”]

To know whether this is true or not – one needs common belief. In the absence of common belief one tends to develop paranoia through imagination. Strong laws prevent this development where belief is weak.

This is ‘insider’ indicator that Mr Harees has the privilege of ‘sensing’ through common belief. If left unheeded, Mr Harees has the duty to our ancestors who overrode Ruwanweli Maha Seya outcome through articles 9 & 14 (1) (e ), to take legal action against the President through the Attorney General. Ruwanweli Maha Seya confirms unity of Sinhalese and separation of minorities represented by Tamils. It also celebrates victory over Ellalan of India who is celebrated for his deep commitment to Dharma/Universal Righteousness. His opponent King Dutugamunu did not have the positive karma to enjoy the successful completion of Ruwanweli Maha Seya – in confirmation of the saying ‘Man proposes, God disposes’. God here is truth within us which naturally joins forces with Universal power. When one truly wins to uphold Dharma it becomes victory of good over evil. LTTE were not evil ; nor were the armed forces under the command of Mr Rajapaksa good. If they were, Mr Rajapaksa would not have withdrawn from the UN-Agreement but taken the opportunity to share the goodness with the rest of the world.

After the Easter bombings Washington Post published as follows under the heading - Sri Lankan Easter bombings, claimed by ISIS, show the group maintains influence even though its caliphate is gone:

[On Tuesday, video emerged of the suspected ringleader of the attacks and seven followers, their faces obscured by scarves, swearing allegiance to the Islamic State and its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The Islamic State also issued a formal communiqué asserting responsibility for the attacks, which it said targeted Christians and “coalition countries.”]

The LTTE was also supported by Tamils especially from India. These happen through natural forces due to common belief. They form natural borders that protect. Their coverage is much larger than Sri Lanka or rather Sinhala-Buddhist  community within Sri Lanka. Article 9 is NOT a fundamental rights article. Articles 10 & 14 are. Sovereignty is upheld by fundamental rights provisions in a constitution.

When the President claims to uphold Buddha Sasana but fails to confirm that he assured that the rights of minorities were protected – it amounts to confirmation of negligence of his duty to the Common Sri Lankan who became Common through secular laws before electing the President. Such a voter would empower the President from forces external to Sri Lanka. Otherwise, as per Dharma that vote does not have the power to raise itself to the National Leadership level but stagnates at local level. One who truly follows Buddha Sasana would know this.

A true Buddhist would also recognise that with death of the body our truth merges with Universal sin or virtue. To the extent it was positive in one’s home environment it would be a virtue and v.v. To my mind, this is why the past should not be disintegrated for current benefits. China’s leadership so disintegrated through Silk Road program and we got Corona sin.

The rule to prevent this exists in accounting also. Such items are shown separately as special items. If LTTE war was considered by the President as completed transaction he would not claim it as a Presidential credit in current term. When he does – it confirms shortage of current credits as per his mind.

This could be due to the Covid19 deaths of Muslims who are protected by articles 10 & 14. When they are blocked outside due process of law, they are naturally separated from law-makers and hence are facilitated by the system of Dharma to from relationships laterally through common Muslim laws. That was how the LTTE were empowered through common belief of Tamils – to the extent they believed in common. They seriously weakened that connection by killing Tamil politicians followed by former Indian Prime Minister.

Whether it is the Tamil community or the Muslim community, each time a leader confirms Buddhist leadership – s/he entitles Tamils & Muslims to find leaders outside Sri Lankan borders that are no longer protectors of sovereignty. That is the Universal law of belief. India therefore is likely to come through the official pathway whilst ISIS would enter unofficially.

The true borders of Sovereign Sri Lanka now covers much wider area than the land space that is recognized as ‘country’. One who relies on a part of that country is seriously lacking in the power to protect against the forces of the expanded nation.
