So that All May Believe

[The Protecting the Rights of People with Disabilities Act (No.28 of 1996) would be amended soon, said the Secretary to Ministry of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage Shirani Weerakoon.
This was revealed last Wednesday (11) at a multi-sectoral stakeholder meeting held at the Galle Face Hotel to discuss the ways and means of improving the accessibility to Assistive Technology by the persons with disabilities and elders in Sri Lanka.
Organised jointly by the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and the WHO, the meeting saw the presence of both service providers and health care receivers who acknowledged the need to improve the country’s level of medical, social and administrative response towards clinical disabilities in people.] Island Report – ‘About 10% of Lankans physically or mentally impaired; laws to be amended soon

As indicated yesterday through my article ‘Media’s Mental Disorder’, a fair proportion of Sri Lankan media must be part of the 10%. In that Daily Mirror article, Indigenous Sri Lankans known as Veddas were claimed to be descendants of King Vijaya known to have come from India. To my mind, a major distortion is with Buddhist monks in Politics and the placement of Buddhism foremost provision in the Constitution.

As per my discovery through the spiritual path, all of us make our own structures as per the Truth that gets recorded in us. When we use Laws and Common principles – we clear the ‘message’ more quickly than when we are influenced merely by our senses. Hence hearsay is not admissible in good Administration. When this recording happened long ago we are not usually conscious of it and hence are not aware of its form.  But every manifestation that we contribute to of our own freewill – is influenced by this component also. Where the current forces that influence our actions and expressions – including through external knowledge are absent the manifestation is the current form of that deep rooted recording like our DNA. It may be positive or negative to us if manifested in our current environments. Mental disorder happens when we are not able to identify with the reason why a pain happens to us or when we enjoy without having earned the pleasures/benefits, including through this deep seated memory.

Laws and principles regulate our endurance and enjoyment respectively of pain and pleasure. Where we have earned benefits but have not enjoyed them for whatever reason, they become structures that guide us from within. Hence conscience driven decisions. Structures that support others’ enjoyment eventually become Energy – especially when we do not get credit for developing a structure nor for contributing to a structure that others have developed. This is Soul value. This becomes the ‘Root-Cause’ of our actions and expressions when we are free of external influence. This Root-Cause Naturally connects us to others at Energy level. Hence our intuitive powers. Whether they are positive or negative depends on the time and place of manifestation.

Let’s take for example the Ministry that is managing the above issue.  As per the above mentioned report – it is the Ministry of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage.

Kandyan Heritage is different in its makeup to Thesawalamai Heritage in Northern Sri Lanka and Mukkuva Heritage in Eastern Sri Lanka. It is also different to the Roman-Dutch and English law heritages commonly applicable to all Sri Lankans. If therefore those who are treating the alleged mental disorder are of  Kandyan mind structure, and those who are being treated are of Thesawalamai mind structure the difference between the two becomes the source of mental disorder in both groups.

During Post-Tsunami Reconstruction service in Mankerni, Eastern Sri Lanka, a group of Western Medical officers came to the village. They were distributing medication in a way they would not have done in their home-nations. To my mind, the status of the people of Mankerni was low in the minds of these medical officers who were unsupervised by the leaders of Mankerni Community – who are largely descendants of Veddas who live close to nature. The lady of the house where I was accommodated also brought home a parcel with her. I asked her ‘Thilagawathi, what did you need medication for?’. Thilagawathi said that she may need it for headaches etc. I concluded that the suppliers were not service oriented but were there for selfish reasons.

Indigenous communities are often targeted by ‘converters’ due to the minds of Indigenous folks being clean of current values and its excesses. Central Government that claims to be Common, needs to ‘wait’ until objectively measurable evidence of wrong-doing is manifested, before seeking to exercise authority over such groups. Treatment by outsiders to that community, would lead to mental disorders.

The most needy  group to my mind,  is the Buddhist clergy active in Politics. Lord Buddha’s pathway is known to be through Renunciation of inherited benefits as a Royalty. Every practicing Buddhist would have invested in that pathway. When Royal / Political status – is actively used by Buddhist leaders including Buddhist clergy, they invest against Lord Buddha’s mind structure. They in fact become Lord Buddha’s opposition and when left unaddressed they become Lord Buddha’s enemy. When they are on their own – there is conflict within their mind due to two opposing values being recorded. This when surfaced cannot be received through an orderly mind – especially of one who genuinely follows Lord Buddha through renunciation of high status.

Sri Lankan Buddhist Politicians – are known to worship Lord Vishnu – known as Hindu by wider world. Lord Krishna is known as Avatar / incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Whether this is true or not – that is the way it is recorded in the minds of Hindus who worship Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna was also King Krishna and part of the Royal family until the last. Lord Krishna approved of weapon based war as a last resort for the purpose of upholding Dharma.  The rules of war were strengthened during the time of Lord Krishna. As per my knowledge, there is no such support for Buddhists from Lord Buddha. Hence Buddhist soldiers may resort to other forms of belief that would support them in their jobs. This would in turn dilute their investments in the path of Lord Buddha.
It was around this point that I received an email message headed ‘Video from Fatima from Mr. Raja Perera, a member of the St. Joseph’s College, Colombo, Alumni, living in the USA where it is 13 October today. https://www.americaneedsfatima.org/Rally-News/message-from-fatima-portugal-october-12-2017.html
I immediately read the message and forwarded it to my dear friend Mrs. Malar Fonseka with whom I share faith in Our Lady. The significance is explained as follows by Wikipedia:

[Beginning in the spring of 1917, three Catholic shepherd children living near Fatima reported apparitions of an Angel, and starting in May 1917, apparitions of the Virgin Mary, whom the children described as the Lady of Fátima. The children reported a prophecy that prayer would lead to an end to the Great War, and that on 13 October of that year the Lady would reveal her identity and perform a miracle "so that all may believe." Newspapers reported the prophesies, and many pilgrims began visiting the area. The children's accounts were deeply controversial, drawing intense criticism from both local secular and religious authorities. A provisional administrator briefly took the children into custody, believing the prophecies were politically motivated in opposition to the officially secular First Portuguese Republic established in 1910.
Estimates of the number of people present range from 30,000 and 40,000, by Avelino de Almeida writing for the Portuguese newspaper O Século to 100,000, estimated by lawyer Dr. José Almeida Garrett, the son of a professor of natural sciences at the University of Coimbra.
Various claims have been made as to what actually happened during the event. According to many witnesses, after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds. The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth before zig-zagging back to its normal position.[19]Witnesses reported that their previously wet clothes became "suddenly and completely dry, as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain that had been falling". Not all witnesses reported seeing the sun "dance". Some people only saw the radiant colors, and others, including some believers, saw nothing at all.[21][22][23][24] The only known picture of the sun taken during the event shows nothing unusual.
The three children (Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto) who originally claimed to have seen Our Lady of Fátima also reported seeing a panorama of visions, including those of JesusOur Lady of SorrowsOur Lady of Mt. Carmel, and of Saint Joseph blessing the people. In the fourth edition of her memoirs, written in 1941, Lúcia said that on the occasion of their third visit to the Cova da Iria, on 13 July 1917, she asked the lady to tell them who she was, and to perform a miracle so that everyone would believe. The lady told to her that they should continue to come to the Cova each month until October, when the requested miracle would occur]

I am a Hindu and yet I believe in Our Lady and say rosaries before I go to bed every night. Hence to me, receiving the above message from Mr. Raja Perera with whose group also I share my thoughts especially about the Sri Lankan war, is a manifestation of that faith. I thanked Professor Henry Sathananthan who connected me to the group well before he merged with the Lord. I felt good that the Sri Lankan war would end through Belief in Sri Lanka – whatever the form – including Catholic form.

Each Sovereign group needs to be left to its  own powers, so they would use their inner  capacity to find their own solutions. The problem starts when ‘outsiders’ try to takeover one side or the other or in some instances ‘both’. Global minded groups must seek and find global minded Sri Lankans for such  services. A global mind is needed to offset the surfacing of Natural ancestral structures in the name of tradition and enforced on others through majority power. Where the common Sri Lankan does not have global mind structure, each group needs its own separate pathway to be facilitated towards curing its own mental disorders. That is what we live with eventually as a Sovereign Individual/Community/Nation. Once we identify with our inner strengths – we would be ready to use the intellectual pathway to Administer through rights and wrongs. Belief has no rights nor wrongs.
