DIAGNOSIS – ECONOMIC CRISIS; CAUSE - UNKNOWN

24 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

[“Last Sunday, when a new mother began suffering dangerous bleeding at a major Colombo hospital, an urgent call went out to one of its main consultant anaesthetists.

The mother needed to be rushed to surgery but the specialist was three kilometres away, stuck in an hours-long line at a petrol station without enough fuel to drive to the hospital.

She started looking for tuk-tuks but couldn’t find one and even asked the police for help to get to the hospital,” Yasuni Manikkage, another doctor at the hospital, told The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

Fortunately, the anaesthetist was eventually was able to get there, as a vehicle from the hospital was sent to pick her up. The mother was able to go into emergency surgery and after further treatment in the intensive-care unit, she is now recovering.]  https://www.smh.com.au/world/asia/with-sri-lanka-in-freefall-this-is-what-a-collapsed-economy-looks-like-20220623-p5aw1c.html

The above was about Sri Lanka , interpreted by an Australian. The parallel of it happened to me here in Australia. I shared it as follows with the chairman of our body corporate:

[Yesterday, you saw being wheeled out by Ambulance staff.  Below is an account of it as shared with a group of doctors:

“Yesterday, after my writing  work and in the middle of cooking dinner for the family, I felt chest-pain. Then I started sweating. Then I felt nauseous. I submitted to the Lord  first. Then I sought to call the ambulance but kept dialling 999 instead of 000. Both Param and our granddaughter who lives with us during her Uni studies – were at work. I thought of my lawyer friend Viji’s father who called the ambulance from a telephone booth – when he developed chest-pain. Then I felt I also could do likewise. I left the front door of my unit open and then lay down on the sofa. I heard the Ambulance. I had already given directions to ask the office to let them in. It so happened that Param came at the same time the Ambulance staff were asking about unit 906. I was taken to Prince of Wales hospital.”

If I had been alone on the weekend or after office hours, I would not have directed the Ambulance staff to the office. This, as you know, happened when your then neighbour was trying to open our door – thinking it was his. Then I raised the issue of us not being able to get the Police up – without risking injury to ourselves. You fitted a camera on the floor but did not resolve the problem. Yesterday’s incident is much more serious – as it is a matter of life and death. One of the doctors in our group said that in the case of one of their colleagues – they personally took the patient to the hospital, as the ambulance was getting late.

As advised previously, our son said that given the new lifts – it would be appropriate to facilitate our guests to come to our floor. Pradeep said that the wiring would need to be changed but that this would be easier done now when the new lifts are being installed. Relative to that – Roof Garden and other comforts seem to be a luxury.

I am informing you because you are the chairman of the community. If I fail to hear from you positively, I propose to take the issue up with the Council. This may lead to other similar structures getting a new, improved system.]

In the Ambulance and at the hospital, I was asked to state the level of my pain on a scale of 1 to 10 – where 10 was strongest pain. In both instances I said that to me it was the worst I had experienced. Hence it was 10. Hence I called the Ambulance.

Then a medically certified  Australian Tamil wrote :

Gaja, I am sorry but not surprised of what happened to you. I am your scape goat to put all the blame on me. From a mile I can assure you that all what you had was a hysterical or a panic attack due to anxiety. I can put my bottom dollar and say you had similar episodes in the past too. Now coming to ambulance and hospital, with your complaints they have to take you in and it is very basic, their believing you is besides the point. And soon with routine initial examination they would have understood your problem and not an acute cardiac issue at all. The rest is just reassurance, sympathy and empathy. By the way in hospital they don’t treat anyone as a princess and instead as a patient. ]

A New Zealand Tamil wrote to the Australian doctor:

[One thing I want to point out to you is that it is unwise to diagnose or pre-empt a patient's sickness without checking. One incident took place a week ago when 20 of our friends went out for dinner to a Thai restaurant. The one who sat next to me was having his food and suddenly collapsed. I immediately called the ambulance and the person who answered me asked whether he was breathing. I said yes. They said they will send the ambulance. We waited for 10 minutes but the ambulance didn’t turn up. So I called again. They said your person is breathing  so the ambulance is attending other urgent cases so it might take a bit longer. I thought this was not good  & we drove him to the hospital. Thank God we did that. He had anaphylaxis. If  we waited for the ambulance for another 20 minutes his life would have been in real danger.

All I am saying is that we don't know the seriousness until we check. So you being a doctor please give her some time to recover especially you mentioned she has the sickness before too.  I personally don't know you and lady Gaja but my humble request is  that let her recover first.

Please don't give overdoses.

All I am saying is that we don't know the seriousness until we check. So you being a doctor please give her some time to recover especially you mentioned she has the sickness before too.  I personally don't know you and lady Gaja but my humble request is  that let her recover first.

In Sri Lankan Tamil, the above is stated as follows:

The pain of the boy who cries that the kanji (rice water) is lacking in salt and the boy who cries that his milk is lacking in sugar must be taken as the same. The two are parallels and would not meet.

In the above case in terms of visible status – I am the parallel of Kinji-drinking boy. The Australian certified doctor is the parallel of Milk drinking boy. Our respective feelings cannot be measured on the same  scale of 1 to 10.

Likewise, the feelings of Sri Lankans and Australians would not meet.

When I had the problem, I relied on the social aspect of low ranking officials in the hospital and elevated myself to the level of Revenue Manager that I was at South Eastern Sydney Area Health Service where I completed my service successfully. Hence my ranking was true and not imaginary. The hospital staff would obviously be trained in such ‘mannerism’ . Some may wear it naturally and others as duty. But the way I took it was as per my truth.

In the case of the New Zealand Tamil – he called me a ‘lady’  - which meant he was a knight. This happened also with a high-ranking Sri Lankan doctor who also disciplined the above mentioned Australian Tamil doctor.

Sri Lanka’s economic collapse is the diagnosis. The cause is not yet identified by Economic Doctors. In the meantime, Sri Lankans are socially recognising each other as Royalty – thus filling the vacancy created by the Bandaranaike dynasty and their heirs the  Rajapaksa  dynasty.  It would therefore be counter-productive, if Australian media treat Sri Lankans as ‘poor’. We make up for loss of money – through stronger Human Resources.

The loss of money happened due to our dependence on leaders who failed to trust the voters. I presented this as follows to the group:

[More than anything else he lacks the trust a doctor needs to have in a patient. They say that we need to be honest with our doctor and our lawyer. In turn the doctor or the lawyer has to trust us until s/he knows we are lying.]

In Democracy, the voters are in the senior position. Politicians have the duty to be honest with the voters and the voters in turn, have the duty to trust the Politicians until they know that the politicians are lying. The group without any official portfolio, that is currently protesting is such a self-governing group.

When more and more Sri Lankans become self-governing, we will learn to live within our means by taking our earned position in global community – which gets  Human Resources for money resources. Towards this we need to believe in ourselves.

By reacting to ‘what happened’ instead of finding out why it happened – Australians are insulting Sri Lanka’s sovereign status. That is ‘cheap’ mentality which makes Sri Lanka a ‘Thavicha Muyal’/ desperate rabbit that is easy to ‘catch’.

GOTA GO OR GOTA STAY?

22 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

“Gotabaya is not a source of political stability, but rather the stark opposite.”  concludes  Ranga Jayasuriya at  https://www.dailymirror.lk/opinion/Why-Gotabaya-should-go-Why-now/172-239462

If the above is a governing conclusion, and it is given effect immediately, the Democratic structure of Sri Lanka collapses. One needs to identify with the truth in a manifestation, to be supported by that truth. Truth being a universal power does the rest. This is my understanding of the State of Nirvana that we believe Lord Buddha attained. In this state, there are no rights or wrongs but just virtues and sins / positive Polar and Negative Polar Energies .

As per Ranga Jayasuriya’s theory:

[First, for Sri Lanka to come out of the current economic misery, a trilogy of factors should converge: the Sri Lankan public, the political parties that would form the alternative government and the international community.  None of them wants to deal with the incumbent president. ]

The  international community is NOT a component making up the  Sovereignty of  Sri Lanka. This was presented as follows to a member of Professional group of Sri Lankans including those living outside Sri Lanka, in the issue of Boat Refugees to Australia:

[Until we exchanged thoughts and feelings within a community group – where one trusted another, that empowered and united us.  But by repeatedly ridiculing me – which has the effect of elevating your own status within the group – you have weakened the sovereignty of this group – to the extent you have become dependent on your seniority to survive. As a result this has come to the public forum through media power.

Since we are both taken as being of the same community by wider world, if I am marked wrong by wider world, you would be marked right. Therefore Nadesalingams. If I am marked right – those who practice the policy of  turning  the boats away would be marked right. We both leave our respective heritages for our heirs in the community. Your heirs will be boat people who breach the law and mine would be those who practice the law. ]

Once the matter comes outside the local sovereign borders – anyone in wider world is entitled to use the ‘outcome’ for their own purposes. Their outcomes would be available for local groups to be used in their own circle. But if the outside world is allowed inside – it means – we have no confidence in our sovereignty. Once we lose confidence – we declare that we are no longer a sovereign group.

In the case of Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa, if the People feel that he did not deliver – they need to ‘wait’ until the next election to confirm their lack of confidence in him. By declaring the ‘dismissal’ prematurely,  Ranga Jayasuriya has confirmed that he has mentally taken over the position of  President. This in turn confirms breaches of  media ethics.

When the position of President is damaged – the system collapse. Those of us who are self-governing maintain that position and the Parliamentary system through our belief in the system. The current incumbent may not fit that position – but we, through our belief – fill that gap. That is true People’s power.

MINISTER PENY WONG – THE HEIR OF CHINESE GOVERNMENT IN SRI LANKA?

http://austms.blogspot.com/

21 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

The above article was published yesterday. Our son directed my attention to it. One who identifies with the Truth in the following experience would know the reason why it was directed to me:

Today is the 33rd Anniversary of the day my husband and daughter were knocked down on a pedestrian crossing in Randwick. Both suffered serious injuries. One of them is suffering from long-covid. Hence I was directed to the above article. The above daughter’s pain feels like mine – including physically.

When the above accident happened in 1989, my other daughter and I  were right behind them. I prayed immediately to Shakthi  (Divine-Mother/Energy). I believe Mother came through me. I did not allow myself even to cry, lest I would not do something I could to the two of them. The following morning, when I was satisfied that both of them were in the care hospital staff and that I could do no more, I went to the tea-room and cried out loud. A lovely – older-looking lady comforted me as if she were my mother.

Even now, around this time when we go past that spot – I feel apprehensive. I then thank Divine Mother for the two granddaughters born on this day. One of them turns 21 today. The other turns 14 today. The night the latter  one was born, at the time of birth our phone rang. I recognised it to be my son-in-law’s number and rang back. He did not answer. The following morning, we learnt that the baby was born just before the time our phone rang.

To me, our two granddaughters are the compensation for the pain and suffering all of us endured as a family. Personally to me as a mother – they are god’s gift for mothering my daughter and my husband during their recovery from the trauma.

So long as I was emotional, I panicked, But even in that my truth is stronger and it surfaced to invoke the Divine Mother in me and through me. That which surfaces beyond our conscious thought is an independent power. When positive, we call it Divine power and when negative we call it Demon power. When both are in one sovereign unit – they offset each other. When Divine power is stronger, the whole is naturally united. When the Demon power is stronger, it separates the group internally.

This brings us to the long-covid issue, highlighted by the above article. The issues raised are summarised as follows:

  • A wave of people seeking care for debilitating symptoms of long COVID are struggling to access treatment and being put on public waiting lists for months on end.
  • Others pay hefty out-of-pocket costs for specialist care such as neuropsychology.
  • Australian researchers say there is an urgent need for funding to ensure timely, ongoing care such as disability support

On the same day the above article was published – there was another by Sky news – headed – ‘Penny Wong pledges $50 million to help Sri Lanka as Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil visits nation amid uptick in asylum seekers at   https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/politics/penny-wong-pledges-50-million-to-help-sri-lanka-as-home-affairs-minister-clare-oneil-visits-nation-amid-uptick-in-asylum-seekers/news-story/df16df22380005e274719c030fb30618

Together they confirm that Australians are being robbed to pay Sri Lankans – the same way the People of China were robbed to pay Sri Lankans.

During the time  I was emotionally upset about the long-covid, a Sri Lankan Tamil who was in favour of the Tamil Family supported by Biloela wrote to me as follows, in response to my article headed ‘ABC PROMOTING ECONOMIC MIGRANTS’:

“ I thought you have gone for good. But now I realise "no way". By the way what is your problem migrants coming into Australia. Australia is larger than US, but US has 330 million people while Aussie 25 million. How did you come to Australia with Your partner Param. Both had free education and deserted SL for greener pastures. Not only that, you claim that you encouraged from your family ( hope you are telling the truth) to enter Australia in search of better life. Now you are jealous that others are coming in. Are you saving jobs for your grand children. If I have power my first duty will be to pack you all, lock stock barrel, immaterial you are citizens, to Thunaivi and create chaos there there. But unlike in Aussie in Thunaivi you will meet your waterloo”

Thunaivi is a toddy-tapper village in Northern Sri Lanka, where our post war development work takes place. The folks of Thunaivi, have not complained about the economic crisis so far. Nor anyone in our social and work circles currently living in Sri Lanka. To me it is not a pressing problem in Sri Lanka. But lack of facilities to treat long-covid is.

As per ABC article at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-14/sri-lanka-people-smugglers-use-australian-election/101147394  :

This was the case for the Nadesalingam family, who last week arrived back in the central Queensland town of Biloela after a four-year immigration battle that brought the plight of Sri Lankan asylum seekers to the front of many Australians' minds.

But the boats in the recent influx have been intercepted all over Sri Lanka and the people on board have been from both Tamil and Sinhalese communities, and a range of economic backgrounds.

"What we've found is that some people have paid thousands of dollars for these journeys, so they had some kind of economic background," Sri Lankan navy captain Indika De Silva said.]

How did these folks, including Nadesalingams find the money to pay People-smugglers ? By politically using Nadesalingams, the Australian government has demoted the status of those of us who respected the law and are now self-governing. But as could be observed through the sharing within the Australian Tamil community the Nadesalingams have become heroes and my family has become zeroes to the those who carry professional labels in the community.

The ABC reports also as follows:

[Sri Lanka's economic crisis has turned into a national emergency, and its people are now calling for help to save lives

During a brutal shift last year, Sri Lankan doctor Saman Kumara did something he'd never done before — he recorded a desperate voice message asking for help to keep newborn babies alive.

Dr Kumara was used to harrowing days working as a neonatologist at one of Colombo's busiest hospitals during the COVID pandemic.

But on that day, he realised the country's health system had collapsed to the point that precious lives were at risk.

One of Dr Kumara's staff members told him his government hospital was running out of endotracheal tubes, a specialised item for infants. Without these crucial devices, newborn babies with breathing difficulties would die.]

Last week a young father from Thunaivi said that his teenage son had been ill and that he was admitted to Jaffna hospital for treatment for a whole week . The father stayed with the son and himself became ill. But now both are ok.

To my mind, good parents add their strength to children – as in Tender-Loving-Care. Whatever happens is a ‘shared-experience’. Relative to the Thunaivi family, who are empowered by a whole village that has suffered strongly through the war, the Nadesalingam family’s support from Biloela is weak. It is another version of Stolen Generation.

The way I see it as per my feelings – in Common – the Australian Government which pampered the Nadesalingams and at the same time funding Sri Lankan Government to ‘stop the boats’ :

In the past month alone, more than 370 Sri Lankans have tried to reach Australia on asylum seeker boats, and the Sri Lankan Immigration Department has been overwhelmed with almost 300,000 requests for passports. -https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-19/sri-lanka-economic-crisis-worsens-pm-asks-australia-for-help/101152402

The other indicator is the Power cut about which an Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board inquired and asked me ‘What went wrong?’

It is  an approach to Divide, Separate and then Rule. Shame on All of us.

Effectively speaking – we are replacing China which ‘trapped’ the Lankan government. Aid without just reason is an exponential debt.

ABC PROMOTING ECONOMIC MIGRANTS

17 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

First it was the Nadeslingam family. Now it is the Rizvi family – being promoted by ABC Australia – our National broadcaster. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-17/sri-lanka-economic-crisis-australia-community-visitor-visas/101151932

The question that we as Australians need to ask is how this affects our own Sovereignty. Groups that use the same measure with belief, become ‘sovereign’ – even though they may not be conscious of this grouping. Until recently, I wrote to negate the imbalance in the Sri Lankan constitution, through Article 9, which allocates Buddhism foremost place. But this week I learnt that in the Tamil majority of Northern Province, there is a similar article, in the constitution of  the Prestigious Jaffna College of Vaddukoddai where the political declaration of Tamil Nationalism was first made in 1976. The two – Buddhism foremost in South and and Christianity foremost in North, effectively offset each other. We become even and there are no grounds to claim discrimination pain – beyond our local area.

The strange commonness is the ‘timing’ of the surfacing of problems that this has caused. The ‘Gota-go-home’ campaign was based on the collapse of the economy, bringing hardship to the ordinary public. The protests were largely in Colombo. The parallel exposure is happening in Vaddukoddai. It is expected that this would be followed by ‘protests’, unless resolved by higher-thinkers. The question needs to be asked as to whether one influenced the other. The ‘timing’ indicates that this is the case.

As stated above ‘Groups that use the same measure with belief, become ‘sovereign’ – even though they may not be conscious of this grouping.’

Is the current government of Sri Lanka, headed by war hero and is being driven by Buddhism foremost in action, influencing the same fate in North? How does the Absolute power of Truth work to uphold its Sovereignty?

The smallest unit of group sovereignty known to most of us is the family. In a Sovereign family, the good and bad are naturally shared with fellow members. Where there are other families and/or individuals who believe in the parallel measures – the two would naturally merge.

In the case of Sri Lankan army – they did not practice Buddhism when they were isolated from civilians. Their parallel of religion was warfare. Likewise, Tamil rebels who categorically ruled out religion as a measure. The LTTE combatants known to me followed this army rule of no-religion.  Hence they become the Equal Opposition of the Sri Lankan government’s armed forces – headed by a war-hero. When their commonness is stronger than their diversity – they form a sovereign group – as in democratic Parliament. Both are sovereign and repel each other naturally.

Likewise, within the Public who oppose the official government through their belief, form sovereign groups beyond apparent borders. Currently the protestors in Colombo seem to invoke American influence – through belief and therefore form naturally sovereign groups without borders.

Some members of the Jaffna College Alumni, are genuinely committed to using the Constitution as the Common measure. But there are others who insist on no-religion. But their knowledge of Secular law is very limited. Hence their ‘rights and wrongs’ border on ‘likes and dislikes’.

Jaffna College was founded and continues to be funded by the American Christian Mission, recognised as ‘Trustees’ who signed a Trust Deed on 30 September 1963, in Massachusetts, USA. https://www.colombotelegraph.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Jaffna-college.jpg

According to that deed, the purpose of funding is presented as follows:

“For the purpose of obtaining, holding, and managing funds for support of Jaffna College, an educational institution located at Vaddukoddai, Jaffna District, Island of Ceylon and for supporting other Christian educational institutions in Ceylon and India and for training Christian workers in Ceylon and India.”

Given that Vaddukoddai is the political capital of Tamil Nationalism, would the above purpose be in natural conflict with the believers in Tamil Nationalism as declared in 1976?  The answer indicated to me is ‘yes’ – one becomes the opposition of the other. The stronger belief would manifest itself – often through the influence of others of the respective belief. In this instance – Tamil v Christian. The latter, in this instance would invoke American influence through American Ceylon Mission.

What is the relevance of this  to Sri Lankan refugees coming to Australia? Taken as a community, Australian Tamils have made sacrifices in various ways, to become Australians – often at the workplace. Some are Australian Tamils and others are Tamil Australians. Where the commonness with Australians is stronger than the diversity – the manifestation would support Australian Sovereignty. Where Diversity is stronger, the manifestation would support Tamil Sovereignty – bypassing Australia.

The Labor government seems to be promoting the latter. In addition, those who leave Sri Lanka during this period of economic crisis – were not Sri Lankans in the first instance.  If successful – they would become mercenaries, or pawns of mercenaries – including irresponsible media which ABC has become.

TAMIL QUEEN OF BILOELA?

http://austms.blogspot.com/

12 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

[The Nadesalingams are home.

The right and just decision has been made, and a family is, finally, allowed to restart a life interrupted in the most cruel and punitive fashion.

But it should never have come to this.

Biloela residents rejoice to have their friends, neighbours and schoolmates home, but it should not have taken four oppressive, damaging years. It should not have needed a desperate campaign from their Queensland home town, it should not have required candlelight vigils and public demonstrations, online petitions and questions in parliament.] The Nadesalingams are back in Biloela, but Australia’s unjust immigration system endures | Ben Doherty | The Guardian

Ben Doherty shares also as follows:

[Nearly 15 years ago, the then immigration minister Chris Evans told Senate estimates “I have formed the view I have too much power”, citing the unchallengeable “God powers” that gave him sole discretion over people’s lives.

“I am uncomfortable with that, not just because of concern about playing God, but also because of the lack of transparency and accountability for those decisions and the lack in some cases of any appeal rights against those decisions.”]

Miniter Evans would not have felt that he had too much power, if he had used his ‘belief’. The fact that he needed transparent reasoning and was committed to accountability meant that he did not have enough belief in the system and/or in the users of the system.

Today, I presented my reasoning as follows to a Sri Lankan journalist who is known to support the Rajapaksa group.

The discussion was through belief based voting system, presented by me as follows to the lady, who like the folks of Biloela, has little intuition about the Tamil community :

[You have raised the issue of credibility of the Election structure itself. To be valid as a democratic system, it must immune from temptations at the lower level-including through the media which often pre-packages ‘ideas’ that are quickly swallowed by those who are looking for ‘easy’ life.

Let us take for example, your figures as follows:

[Jaffna District

112,967 people voted for ITAK

55,303 people voted for AITC]

You conclude as follows:

[HOW REPRESENTATIVE ARE THESE SO-CALLED TAMIL LEADERS --- LOOKS LIKE EVEN TAMIL PEOPLE HAVE REJECTED THEM ]

I did not vote in the elections. But my continuous vote happened all the time through issues that were important to the People. That is the issue based voting of Governors. This naturally goes to those who practice good governance.

Most Sri Lankans – be they Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims or Burghers – vote for the person or party that seems to favour them. If this is ‘benefits’- based then they could easily be bought over by politicians who desire to be politicians – even if they lose in the elections.

Your above figures are taken at Jaffna District level. Within Jaffna district, there are many electorates. To help you appreciate the concept of electorate, I take you to the following in my article:

[When our pain is greater than our pleasure, after we try our best to break-even, the matter is incomplete in current terms. Then it becomes an invisible asset to one who experienced more pain and an invisible liability to the other who experienced more pleasure . This pushes us into the next level of sovereignty – usually as a group – i.e. family, workplace, & society, to finally merge with universal power of perfect balance.  ]

One of the groups / persons that facilitates this merger is the political group / person we vote for Through that person/group we merge with or ‘block’ Parliament and through the Parliament – with /in Global governance. In that pathway,  a belief based vote goes naturally through to global level, while desire based vote blocks the common pathway.

If Tamils were Tamils first, they did not need the electorate based grouping. A good example of the power of the electorate is the town of Biloela which has become famous due to the Nadesalingam family who are claiming refuge in Australia, on the basis of alleged persecution, if they went back to Sri Lanka. The Australian media played an active role in this – as did Labor politicians. Mrs Nadesalingam did a Rajapaksa act by kissing the ground of Biloela – as if she was queen of Bilola! If Mrs Nadesalingam was true to her earth – she would have been one of the last to her home area  in Sri Lanka or later in India’s Tamil Nadu. Her case is a clear example of exploitation – including by the media. This would naturally block Tamil community  from becoming part of Natural global governance on the basis of issues that represent our belief.

By taking the Jaffna District votes you are being disrespectful of the smallest group/institution – the electorate. Hence your conclusions are not supported by a democratic structure. It is likely to support your political grouping which according to me includes the Rajapaksas. But that would also stagnate at that level.  The root cause of Rajapaksas facing the current crisis is their desire based voting system.

As highlighted by you ‘the SLPP candidate secured the highest preferential votes in Jaffna’

This was the ‘popular vote’. It was NOT limited to the electorate. Someone in Vanni could therefore vote for SLPP. Given the LTTE’s record of stopping voters in 2005 – Tamils who were free to exercise vote beyond their area of belief – would have voted for SLPP. During the previous government – some Hill country voters did state that they Preferred Mahinda who brought in more business opportunities. The likes of them would have voted for SLPP candidate – in the expectation of more business opportunities. Some would have wanted the war related opportunities.

The fact that the current government has collapsed is confirmation that a good part of majority vote was ‘desire’ based and not belief-based.

In terms of Tamil community some of have worked consistently to offset the ‘popular’ vote and hence we do not feel the economic collapse as Sinhalese are feeling.]

The voting system in Sri Lanka influences outcomes – including whether one thinks one can live in Sri Lanka or not. The Australian government needs to study that structure and know how easy pathways are used by those who are not true to themselves.  One way is to identify with the truth of Australian Tamils who provide genuine feedback to Australian government regularly on this issue. If dealt with at political level – the risk would be corrupt governance as we have learnt from Sri Lanka.

GOTA MUST STAY FOR THE SAKE OF TAMILS

11 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

GOTA MUST STAY FOR THE SAKE OF TAMILS

All of us experience pleasure and pain at different stages of life. Where pleasures are equal to pains at current values, we break even and own the experience. When our pain is greater than our pleasure, after we try our best to break-even, the matter is incomplete in current terms. Then it becomes an invisible asset to one who experienced more pain and an invisible liability to the other who experienced more pleasure. Both become our individual karma. This pushes us into the next level of sovereignty – usually as a group – i.e. family, workplace, & society, to finally merge with universal power of perfect balance. When one completes this sovereignty at an early stage, one’s influence on any issue is exponentially positive. Likewise, one who is ‘free’ of institutional values at early stages and is indebted to a person or group for ‘free looking’ pleasures, carries negative sovereignty – known as slavery as an exponentially negative value.

As per the article headed ‘Sumanthiran complains that the man responsible for crisis still in driving seat’ at https://island.lk/sumanthiran-complains-that-the-man-responsible-for-crisis-still-in-driving-seat/ :

[“Each time this parliament meets, people expect there will be some change, some forward movement to resolve this crisis. And the people are disappointed because this is a parliament with two thirds of the voters supporting the government,” he said.

The TNA MP said that the government had abused the people’s trust and further strengthened the Executive Presidency. The President then went on to violate all the promises he had made to the people and rereading the President’s election manifesto in 2019, the “Vistas of Prosperity and splendor” now induced laughter, Sumanthiran said.]

Mr Sumanthiran represents Jaffna District which was seriously affected  by the war. If Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa remains in power he takes the blame for the current disaster and this would be attributed to him as ‘negative karma’ described above. If he is gone and the disaster continues, the connection would be difficult for someone who has to ‘see to believe’, to make.

The most obvious reason for the current crisis the difficulty experienced by Sinhala voters. How it happened would be analysed and/or identified with by various individuals and groups in their own ways. To the extent they are based on true experienced pain, they would all naturally merge. That is when the outcome is by the People. The Parliament’s tools are institutional and only those who believe in the Parliament as an institution, would contribute to the final outcome. Members of Parliament have the duty to participate through due processes of Parliament and not directly as if they were members of the Public/People. If they truly sought to so participate, they need to first resign from their parliamentary portfolios.

A true People’s protest would not ‘show’ any Parliamentary outcome and v.v. Participating in the protests must confirm the cause. In this instance – it is Economic hardship. If Tamils physically participated in this protest – they would dilute their ‘invisible’ asset earned through war-suffering. Mr Sumanthiran has the duty to strengthen this invisible asset on behalf of a minority group that cannot, on its own show a particular outcome that would satisfy majority also. It is for this reason that the woman head of a family is known as Shakthi/Energy. One who sees matter, would not feel Energy and v.v.

THE JVP CONNECTION

10 June 2022

Gajalakshmi Paramasivam

All beliefs have heirs. Often, it is through the heirs that we learn the real structure of the parent. Truth that is discovered by one is carried beyond one’s lifetime, not necessarily by one’s biological children. Gandhi’s truth as practiced by Gandhi is carried by wider world – beyond Gandhi’s family  and nation. Whether good or bad, once truth is discovered and shared -  heirs, happen. That is the reality.

On 7 May 2022, I wrote under the title ‘ANOTHER JVP INSURRECTION?’ - Australian Tamil Management Service (austms.blogspot.com). On 15 May, when communicating with a Tamil Diaspora leader, I wrote as follows:

[As per the feedback I get, some in North are open to China. It is not new – considering that we already had the links through Communist Party as highlighted by you. Some as per my current communications play it both ways – pro India as well as pro China. However, majority are pro-UNP now also.

India continues to invest actively in North but they lack majority support could also be due to IPKF experience.

The encouraging part is the quiet support for protestors in the current situation. Not sure whether Sumanthiran’s suggestion to arrest MR is helpful. I reject it. Due Process must be followed at all times. That will bring us the blessings of all our ancestors. As of now, I feel that we are protected in North. ]

That community elder stated in response:

[I agree with you;  indeed , due process must be followed at all times: if not the state will descend into anarchy. The consensus of opinion here is that the JVP is at the moment behind the setting fire to the homes of supporters of  the SLPP . There are 17 universities in Sri Lanka now and 90% of the Sinhalese undergraduates are allied to the JVP & these undergraduates are awards of the locations of all legislators , SLPP, UNP et al - not the plebs .]

This community elder directed me to yesterday’s article ‘Burying the Hatchet IN Your Heads !’ at Burying the Hatchet IN Your Heads ! – The Island

This article confirms as follows:

[Galle Face Protest is no more a “peaceful” and “non-partisan” agitation of “angry young men and women”. Now it is being led by the activists and front organisations of JVP and FSP]

The University of Jaffna is no exception to infiltration by rebel ideology. The question one needs to ask is whether the political genes have become common with university genes.

As per my discovery, where there is unjust discrimination through a man-made system, and it is left unaddressed beyond the victim’s lifetime in a particular institution or nation, the victim gets rewarded by another independent institution or nation. Then the karma returns to the one who practised discrimination that caused the pain. Then the latter’s home community gets restructured to a lower level. The test is therefore whether the victim’s community produces exceptionally talented heirs.

University students producing political outcomes are confirming unethical infiltration of politics into University system. But those who accepted the outcomes after doing their best – in their allocated position would be reborn in another institution/nation. That is how Truth solves all our problems.

Those who feel ownership would feel the indicators intuitively. This is how belief , unadulterated by external knowledge calms our minds – so we know what to do. We cannot ‘prove’ indicators but would know they are ‘right’ due to the balance they bring about. A true owner would therefore not fear outcomes but would know that they were bound to happen. This was confirmed yet again by the above mentioned article by Sena Thoradeniya, who shares as follows:

[In 1971, JVP launched a one-day armed insurrection to capture state power, overnight. They were so sure of capturing power, in one night, and did not have any alternative plan if the insurrection failed; all subsequent plans were mapped out by withdrawing men and women in combat fatigue themselves as a means of survival. The 1988-89 attacks took a different shape, beginning with the very crude and unrefined slogan in Sinhala, “JR Maramu” (Let’s kill JR) as opposed to euro-centric, polysemic hashtag, “GoGota Home”. “Unidentified gunmen” started the killing spree . Learning from their past mistakes, we observe that the JVP and its ally FSP are adopting a different strategy and tactics. Initially they have succeeded in becoming the leading force at Galle Face and other protest sites. It should be noted that these two rival factions have forged an alliance and have admitted that youth activists of the two parties already work together at the Galle Face protest site. This is no more than a marriage between a populist group and a group paying lip service to Marxism.]

The Tamil parallel  to “JR Maramu” (Let’s kill JR), was the actual killing of Tamil politicians by the LTTE. But most Tamils, including the media, are fearful of what happened – that they would rather find fault with the government than with the rebels. This is a way of sweeping our dirt under the carpet.  One such leader responded as follows to my yesterday’s article :

[There are couple of errors in your article, in the 2005 election LTTE did not forcibly restrain Tamils from voting resulting in Mahinda coming to power.

Other, do you know of any such stupid Tamils in America with millions to spare or anywhere outside Sri Lanka ready to trust the Buddhist Sinhala despot's and part with their hard-earned money. You can beg all your life from most of this so-called rich diaspora to contribute a few bucks for a project to support the hapless people in Vanni the answer will be a big NO.]

My response to this was :

[You state:

[in the 2005 election LTTE did not forcibly restrain Tamils from voting resulting in Mahinda coming to power]

I was there in Vaddukoddai during the 2005 Presidential elections. The folks of Vaddukoddai demonstrated fear. They would not dare to override LTTE not due to belief in LTTE but due to fear.  The Wikipedia report confirms the reason. If you know otherwise, you have the duty to write to Wikipedia – revealing your source. May be your folks did not fear LTTE and refrained from voting due to their own free will. Or are you saying they voted? If so you have a greater duty to confirm that.

You state:

[Other, do you know of any such stupid Tamils in America with millions to spare or anywhere outside Sri Lanka ready to trust the Buddhist Sinhala despot's and part with their hard-earned money.]

Raj Rajaratnam has made millions by avoiding due processes – as LTTE also did, under the cover of Freedom fighting. That ‘freedom’ was from law. They were ‘free’ of the law.  Raj declared that he sought to invest in Northern Sri Lanka. Then there is Allirajah Subaskaran who is reported by Wikipedia, to have ‘donated use of a call centre to Boris Johnson during his 2012 London mayoral election campaign’

These were not hard earned monies but are ruthless business monies accumulated by cheating the nations that gave them refuge. When taxes are not paid, the public get cheated.

You state: [You can beg all your life from most of this so-called rich diaspora to contribute a few bucks for a project to support the hapless people in Vanni the answer will be a big NO.]

If you believe  that some of us invest our hard earned and hard saved monies in North & East – through our own structures, you would appreciate that many do not believe that the Vanni folks need cash – but discipline and regulated structure. I see nothing wrong with their NO. It is ‘right’ towards establishing themselves in their new nations as law abiding citizens to weaken the terrorism fear. ]

These are indicators based and they help discipline the weak-minded who often get carried away by easy outcomes that are visible.

Sri Lanka as a whole is moving towards global takeovers due to damage to the sovereignty of the common Sri Lankan. Rural Sri Lankans who live within their means are the key to us redeeming ourselves from this mess.
