Have Lankans voted for Chinese Rule?

Yesterday, I highlighted the following:

[Will get 2/3 majority created in parliament if not at polls: PM] and linked it as follows:

[I felt that the message I sent on 04 August, under the Subject heading ‘UNP Had 96% Approval’  had reached the true seeker.]

Yesterday some – including journalists,  indicated that they interpreted it as the kind of ‘quid-pro-quo’ manipulation that happened in Parliament during the 2018 Constitutional Crisis. Each would interpret as per their ‘home-group ’ structure. But then between 2018 and 2020, we have had the 2019 Presidential elections and  observed subsequent  policy level differences which Dr Dayan Jayatilleka also highlights as follows:

[Interviewed at length by this newspaper in 2013, I stated (in response to a question posed by Chamitha Kuruppu) that: “…there has been an intra-regime change. The centre of gravity is shifting from the pragmatic populism of Mahinda Rajapaksa to a harder, harsher neo-conservatism which is more visibly represented by Gotabaya Rajapaksa… ‘Mahinda Chinthana’ is in danger; it is increasingly overshadowed or overtaken by the ‘Gota Chinthana’…Sri Lanka cannot successfully manage relations with its minorities and also with the neighbourhood and the world as a whole with a bunker mentality.” (‘We are on the road to losing the peace’, Daily FT, Friday 10 May 2013, pp. 11, 15)

This election will show how far that process has gone towards irreversible completion.
] – Daily FT 05 August 2020 – ‘The real story of 19A and the executive presidency’

My 96% approval message also referred to the passage of the 19th Amendment. I am largely unaffected by individual personalities and therefore am more focused on the issue itself. One who believes sees both sides as her/himself. I highlighted the value of belief trough the Appendix to my article of 29 July 2020 - headed ‘Cultural Borders & Sovereignty -’. This Appendix was published by eLanka newspaper, the following day. That Appendix shares the ‘Mango Legend’ which is about the Separation of Powers between Ganesh the elder brother and Murugan the younger brother. Ganesh represents Autocracy and Murugan represents Democracy.

By position, younger brother President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is the senior of the two Rajapaksa brothers. We in Northern Sri Lanka had the parallel situation in 2013 when Mr Sumanthiran by virtue of longer period in Politics became senior to former Justice - Mr CV Wigneswaran within the leading Tamil Political group. The above legend is about diversity in structure which happens naturally due to time. When one or the other does not change – they separate naturally.  The way to intellectual win is different to the pathway to business / economic win. When the two are separated one cannot measure their successes through the same yardstick. I shared my mind as follows with a member of the Tamil Diaspora (TD) who supports Mr CV Wigneswaran :

TD: Sent the Jaffna list of election wins

Gaja:  ITAK leads unless the others get together to form Opposition

TD: The curse of our community is that we have seven members from Jaffna and when they sit in the parliament they will be seated like ‘Navagraha’. In the Hindu temple - one won’t face the other. What is consoling here is at least we have one genuine person to talk about our problems - that is CVW.

Gaja: If they are ' Navagraha’ - then they represent  the past. This is very  true of CVW . If he therefore speaks - we will have the parallel of Covid19 which to my mind happened due to disturbing Silk Road heritage. Jaffna folks have said thank you to CVW also. Take it gracefully. I have no other expectations from CVW. I do from ITAK

These 2020 elections have confirmed, forced retirement of  seniors which began with former president Mr Sirisena breaking away from his senior Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa. This was followed by others, with UNP also splitting into two – effectively ‘retiring’ the elder Mr Ranil Wickremesinghe who confessed to watching Bollywood dramas during the Covid19 lockdown! Now, like Mr John Howard in 2007, Mr Wickremesinghe also has lost his seat which confirms serious loss of confidence by the common voter. It is a disconnection with fundamental powers of Governance. One needs to feel the pain of the citizen as her/his own to invoke the consolidated value of current citizens in each other. When this is absent – there is breach in fundamental connections through Democracy.

Whether the current leaders acknowledge it or not Sri Lanka’s sovereignty has been seriously damaged due to unregulated financial support from China. In terms of belief – the past is represented by the planetary positions that represent the essence of our  past – depicted through the 9 planet positions known as ‘Navagrahams (Navam=Nine; Grahams = Planets)’. Our life during colonial rule also represented by the Navagrahams of Sri Lanka should not be activated to produce current benefits. It is for this reason that it is recommended that one does not prostrate in front of the Navagraha shrine in Hindu temples. It is said that when we do, Saturn is likely to descend on our shoulders. Indigenous Australians are likely to have their own version of this. To the extent we celebrate ‘independence’ from foreign rule and also victory over a spirit of rebel group – we awaken  the Saturn which represents our sins. This is exponential in current terms because it has no current opposition to make it relative.

I believe that Hambantota port takeover by China happened due to such disturbance. As per the verdict of the Sinhala voters – that is not a loss. If we have foreign wars on Lankan soil, we would know that it was because the past was made a current  win/victory. We can always pray and every self-governing person’s prayers would be heard by the Universal power  of Democracy.

Truth In Governance

“…sides you take and scientific findings depend on the quantum of offer and benefit and not the truth” – Lankan Diaspora Leader

The above came in response to my article headed ‘We can see professors. Professors cannot see Arsenic. We cannot see gods. Gods can see Arsenic.’

The contents of my article may never reach the apparent participants. But when someone who cares about the issue responds, it contributes to governance of the issues concerned. To my mind the process is like calculus in Maths – the base of  which is continuous change. Another way I would present  it is ‘thought without action’ or ‘process without particular outcomes’. I believe that our thoughts do have consequences and travel fast when they are without directed towards particular manifestation.

This morning also I was pleasantly surprised to note the following Daily Mirror heading:

[Will get 2/3 majority created in parliament if not at polls: PM]

I felt that the message I sent on 04 August, under the Subject heading ‘UNP Had 96% Approval’  had reached the true seeker. Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa is reported to have made the above statement to Journalists:

[SLPP Leader and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today said that they will make arrangements to get a two thirds majority created in parliament if the party did not receive it at the General Election.

Speaking to journalists at the Medamulana D.A. Rajapaksa Maha Vidyalaya in Weeraketiya where he cast his vote, the Prime Minister however said he was positive of the party winning two thirds majority]

The voting system is based on Universal Franchise. The right is Universal due to our ability to self-govern. A true vote connects us to all powers of governance – past and current. The vote that can be counted is slower to travel / spread itself,  than a true thought of governance without a vote. The offers of ‘quid pro quos’ that we allow ourselves when voting, dilute the power of the spread to qualify as being Universal.

Every belief based vote – whether cast or not empowers the purpose. Likewise every vote based on expectations of return – whether cast or not – differentiates, divides and dilutes commonness of purpose.

On the same day the former President confirmed the above connection, the current President is reported to have demoted the value of pure knowledge :

[The President, hearing from an undergraduate that she is doing ‘Political Science’ responded saying that she should have selected what has an employment potential in the industry. This triggered many responses but none of them attempted to describe the connotation of what the President may have implied.] – Daily FT article ‘President had a point: Biggest challenge in education’

The author of the above article Dr Vipula Wanigasekera states:

[One of my recent articles concluded stating, ‘The country needs a paradigm shift in every sector and in the education too. Sri Lanka needs skills, not graduates’. We need professional plumbers, electricians, horticulturists, agriculturists, motor mechanics, language experts, web developers, multimedia experts, paramedics, beauty culturists, culinary and cookery experts, English Teachers, Masters of F & B, independent journalists, event planners, pest controllers, land and construction movers – the list is long. Other than the medical, engineering and IT fields, universities do not produce them. University colleges and technical colleges do, in a small way.]

Technical skills are like vote based governance. Academic education is like Governance through Common Policy. There are separations including within Mainstream political parties due to former. That kind of power limits us to local area. This is fine so long as we are locally self-sufficient. As a country we are not.

The author is reported to have been ‘Director General of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority’

While the land called Sri Lanka has the natural beauty by birth, it is the higher Lankan mind that values Universal commonness that lifts the country’s beauty to communicate the experience of that beauty beyond local borders. Higher education is one such avenue. It has been for my family and community. It helped also to self-govern through intellectual logic. That was how from time to time Tamils became Equal Opposition in National Parliament. When the Hon G G Ponnambalam proposed 50:50 intellectual solution – it did not make it to the constitution. But the contribution remained as political power and empowered whenever minorities united in politics. It is an eternal power – as all independent powers are.

We can see professors. Professors cannot see Arsenic.

We cannot see gods. Gods can see Arsenic.

As per the Hindu epic Mahabharatham – there were many battles between kings of small kingdoms – to fight which some switched alliances. Some like King Shalya were ‘tricked’ into joining the majority side. Lord Krishna was with minority side because they asked for him whole King Krishna’s army joined the majority side.

With the ongoing ethnic war in Sri Lanka there are many battles being fought including by switching sides. Dr Dayan Jayatilleke for example took the side of Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa during n the past. As per his latest confession ‘Dr Dayan Jayatilleke’ is now claiming that he supports Sajith Premadasa. The only time Dr Dayan Jayatilleke responded to my email was to promote Sajith and other young ones in Politics. In this recent confession Dayan confirmed that he had worked closely with Sajith’s father in during the insurgencies – both North and South.

Dayan indicated that he waited until Sajith broke away from the UNP led by Ranil. The consolidated form of these declarations is that Dayan promotes armed conflict – so he could shine as he did during the time Mr Premadasa Snr was President. The following presentation of Dayan, by Wikipedia confirms this:

[Whilst at Binghamton he was involved with solidarity movements in support of El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. He returned to Sri Lanka in 1982 to observe the presidential election but, having gotten involved in militant Sri Lankan politics, never returned to Binghamton and dropped out.]

The above confirms that Dayan is promoter Militant-Politics – the environment in which he is likely to win. But the fundamental problem here is that Militant-Politics is effectively reverse autocracy which is NOT Demcracy.

Then there is this Island report headed ‘Lanka’s Ambassador in Myanmar accused of campaigning for SLPP, SLFP’:

[ Attorney-at-law Nishantha Palliyaguruge, in a letter to the Election Commission (EC), has accused Sri Lanka Ambassador in Myanmar Prof. Nalin de Silva of campaigning for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) as well as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party………………..

Prof. De Silva, in his response to Attorney-at-law Palliyaguruge with copies to members of the EC, has asked what were the specific violations perpetrated by him as regards the Parliamentary Election law. The outspoken academic declared that he was not a government servant while finding fault with the lawyer for not writing his name properly.]

As a science driven person – one is entitled to appreciate such a request from Prof. De Silva. Wikipedia has published a different side to this Professor as follows:

[When the authenticity of the findings made by the University of Kelaniya team were questioned by other scientists De Silva stated that the god "Natha" had first told them about the arsenic through a mystic.

The merit (pina) in this regard should go to the "samyak drshtika devivaru" who first told that Arsenic is present in Rajarata drinking water and later revealed to us that Arsenic which is not found naturally in Sri Lanka has found its way to the wells and the wewas in Rajarata through Agrochemicals.

It's simply like this. We can see professors. Professors cannot see Arsenic. We cannot see gods. Gods can see Arsenic. I like this because there is certain symmetry in it... I know very well that the so-called objective scientific method is a lie]

Like Dr Dayan Jayatilleke in Politics, Professor De Silva seems to be switching between Science and Belief  in Politics:

[Nalin de Silva was formally a member of the Marxist Trotskyite Lanka Sama Samaja Party and the Nava Sama Samaja Party, and as a marxist studying both disciplines he intensively began to question the foundations of both Marxism and science. As a result, in 1986, he wrote Mage Lokaya (My World), criticizing the basis of the established western system of knowledge, and its propagation, which he refers as "domination throughout the world".He explained in this book that mind independent reality is impossible and knowledge is not found but constructed.]

Both enjoyed the benefits of Diplomatic postings and yes, funded by taxpayers. A self-resourced diplomat needs to be free of direct political influence.

I also reason through belief  when I need to complete the connection between cause and effect. I am currently using this with Coronavirus spread by connecting it to the disturbance of Silk-Road heritage which is a depiction of undisturbed Belief over a long period.  But if I were earning money and/or status in that discipline – I would not do that. As per my ethics I should not. Until a scientific cause is known to majority in need of the knowledge – I will be driven by my belief but without enforcing it on anyone else. Once I enforce – it is no longer belief but a business.

On the part of Tamils an intellectual leader directed us to a publishing by Tamilwin - with the following comments:

[There joins the Eelam king too at the last moment. Welcome your majesty.]

My response to that was ‘Following in the footsteps of CV Wigneswaran???’

These are all confirmations of living in the past they are attached to. It means also that they are cheating in their current positions.

Crumbling of Rajapaksa Hierarchy

Recently a member of the Tamil Diaspora forwarded to me the video clip regarding the late Ms Shakuntala Devi – at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8FhngvxiBE&feature=youtu.be. The mail came when I was discussing belief in god with another part of the Diaspora. One of them wrote ‘miracle is nothing but mere state of mind’. To me the ability of Ms Shakuntala Devi to ‘see’ the answers to number questions almost immediately in her mind. Before this lady, Srinivasa Ramanujan Aiyangar had its parallel in Mathematical Theory. To me these are miracles. Miracles are presented by Wikipedia as follows:

[A true miracle would, by definition, be a non-natural phenomenon, leading many writers to dismiss them as physically impossible (that is, requiring violation of established laws of physics within their domain of validity) or impossible to confirm by their nature (because all possible physical mechanisms can never be ruled out). The former position is expressed for instance by Thomas Jefferson and the latter by David Hume. Theologians typically say that, with divine providence, God regularly works through nature yet, as a creator, is free to work without, above, or against it as well]

Thomas Jefferson is also known as ‘the principal author of the American Declaration of Independence and a proponent of Democracy’ Rule by Democracy is a rule by minority powers. To be valid, they have to be beyond the boundaries of existing laws. Hence the criterion - ‘requiring violation of established laws of physics within their domain of validity’

This morning I wrote under the heading ‘UNP Had 96% Approval’ in terms of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution. Later I came across the Island article ‘Reality of two-thirds power in parliament’ in which the author Dr Sumedha Amarasekara presents as follows, in relation to the two thirds majority being sought by the Rajapaksa government

[So, do they actually need two-thirds to change the constitution to achieve whatever they intend to bring about to this country? Clearly not.]

To me, the miracle here is that Belief based network which brings me confirmation that I am not alone in my thinking. It is belief based if I have no knowledge of conscious connections. That was how my book Naan Australian reached the National Library of Australia. Believers do not need proof . The other side happens through the network of Belief. There would be a scientific connection but at that time when the mind does not know – it is a miracle.

Democratic Elections are confirmations of such miracles. We would identify with them – not when someone is elected but when our ‘other side’ manifests one way of the other.

Democracy works effectively only when voters believe in the person they are voting for and/or the issue they are voting for. As per the above article:

[On the other hand from a ‘Pro Rajapaksa’ point of view, with the Rajapaksa clan in power one can trust them to deliver the country into prosperity, entrust the sovereignty of this country and safeguard its heritage.]

When they are ‘pro’ a subject – they are relations. One needs absolute power of  belief to override relativity. When brothers hold leading positions in wider nation – it is NOT democracy. To validly represent the electorate – the structure of the electorate needs to be the one that dominates their mind. In other words the investment in family ought to have by now merged as national investment. In that wider world all are viewed on Equal basis or taken as per their official status.

When younger brother became President – the family hierarchy became different. Now if officially the PM has to take junior position to his younger brother – the President – it is a huge challenge. THAT was the victory of the 19th Amendment which limited the person to two terms only. If Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa mentally accommodates his elder brother – he naturally loses executive power. If Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa accommodates his younger brother – the president – their family hierarchy is dismantled. It is not different to Dual Citizenship ban. There is no way one can escape the truth.

Like in the exponential spread of the Corona/King  Virus,  every believer in Democracy influences exponential sharing of their powers. Unless recognized leaders believe in the People as a whole – which is very difficult – the power of the People will be stronger than the power of the leaders – including smart leaders who promise economic growth. That was how Tamils became equal Opposition in Parliament – in 1977 and in 2015. Towards this Tamils need to give up Separation thoughts so their network is Sri Lankan. Likewise Muslims.

The elections are only the beginning of this political game where the king is the intellectual power and the queen is the political power.

UNP Had 96% Approval

It is voting time in Sri Lanka for Parliamentary positions. Does our Democratic Duty cease there? What do we need to identify with the success or failure of our recruitment? At what level do we so identify? Those who operate close to the Parliamentarians would usually identify with their returns through money and status benefits. What about majority who are physically far away from Parliament? Is there a parallel of this democratic voting system in nature?

The closest common natural example that comes to mind is the solar system. Each planet is independent of the other planets and all of them revolve around the Star- the Sun. Every electorate is like a planet and the Parliament is the Star.

As per Financial Times report ‘President and PM should hold similar ideologies: MR’:
[Renewing his pledges to form a strong Government to address the adverse economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday reiterated a two-thirds majority would be needed to fully implement President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s policy statement]

Policy confirms the essence of a law. A two thirds majority would therefore change the structure of the executive power as it exists today.

The above report confirms also the following:

[The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) prime ministerial candidate expressed these views at a rally held in Kalawana. Rajapaksa noted both the President and the Prime Minister should hold similar ideologies to address challenges that arose after the COVID-19 outbreak.

He noted the understanding between the President and the Cabinet was a key element for a government to be successful and he noted that was the shortcoming of the previous administration. According to Rajapaksa, that had created issues which affected all sectors of the country.

“We have seen what has happened during the past five years. The tussle between former President Maithripala Sirisena and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Their continuous disagreements affected the entire country. I hope the public is well aware of that and they will vote for the SLPP to form a strong Government,” he said
]

During the rule of the immediate past government When successful changes were made to the Constitution – the UNP did not have even simple majority. But it had the confidence of the Parliament to achieve the change. The 19th Amendment was passed by 96% of the Parliament. This is 29% more than the two thirds that Mr Rajapaksa is asking for.

The Independent Parliament would use belief  in itself. One who asks is a dependent. This morning I responded to a question on belief:

[I inherited my belief in Yoga Swami from my father. In the case of Sai Swami – I developed it through my discoveries and  it is my Thediya Thettam/Acquired wealth. My juniors will inherit this as  Muthusum/inheritance]

The existing laws are our inherited intelligence. The new laws we make are our acquired intelligence.   The change to the position of Executive Presidency was effected due to experience that adversely affected leaders closely connected to Parliamentarians. The new President did not come to power with two thirds majority and this confirms the acceptance of the People of the current structure of that position.

Whether it is Sinhalese, Tamils or Muslims the investment made by our ancestors in the Parliamentary system will continue to support all those who inherited those values including by practice of the laws made by Parliament. Whenever there is a true need by majority – that inheritance will surface itself to support its heirs – including in Opposition to maintain the Balance of Equality through diversity and its independence.  A weak Opposition in Parliament is only temporary in Sri Lanka as per our rich history. Most of us identify with the successful operation of our belief not because of a victory in election but our own successful invocation  of belief during the reign of a particular ruler.

Ancestral Powers & Properties

The most endangered group during this covid19 crisis in Australia, has proven to be those in aged care facilities. Would we as a society have the new norm of either being independent until we die or ensure that we are taken care of by those whom we took care of.  There were comments from the top that some of these facilities did not confirm acceptable standards. I realised this in the case of a relative more than a decade ago and used my power with the family to have her taken home. When the children obliged, I felt good.

Today when I read the Daily Mirror article ‘Lonely death of Miss Ceylon 1962 - What really happened to Jennifer Ingleton?’ I felt the urge to share my own belief in this.
The article introduces us to the corpus as follows:

[A lively and spirited lady, Jennifer Ingleton (nee Labrooy) was crowned Miss Ceylon in 1962. A dear friend of many, her family and friends remember her as a strong, capable and independent businesswoman. Jennifer passed away on July 17 after battling a prolonged illness.
However, it has now become a question for many as to how a stranger that none of this close-knit community of friends and family recognises, is claiming ownership of Jennifer’s property on Cotta Terrace.
]

In the above matter - the ‘stranger’  produced a marriage certificate.
In Sri Lankan politics the parallel is:

[The separations happened due to the same reason as to why the government that actively professed Buddhism foremost and/or Sinhala only. They wanted separation and they got separation. TNA included militants in its grouping and to that extent it diluted its own investment in political pathway. That was not a team of common belief. It was a joint venture based on outcomes and is not different to Rajapaksa led SLFP including Karuna. In both instances they chose to ‘ignore’ the ‘separation’ factor that the militants had invested in through their actions which qualified as ‘dictatorship’. This separatism karma followed them like black-dog. Black-dogs cause depression of the mind.] - The Black-Dog in Sri Lankan Politics at http://austms.blogspot.com.au/

When we merge through beliefs we become One. When we mix through outcomes we are strangers – in long terms marriages and/or birth related connections.
The Daily mirror details are as follows:
[The Daily Mirror spoke to Jennifer’s half-brother Tony Hawke who claims that Jennifer was held captive in her own home and denied medical treatment over the past year.
Jennifer was the widow of Mr D.A.F Ingleton, a successful businessman behind the food brand Daffy’s.  The couple had no children of their own and no close relatives living in Sri Lanka. Both, however, had extended family and friends abroad.

“Jennifer has always lived at No. 5 Cotta Terrace, Colombo 8. This property was directly passed on to Jennifer by our mutual great aunt Sybil Meier as Jennifer was the main caregiver of our great aunt and our grandmother Helen Vivienne Kelaart nee Meier. This home, in effect, is our ancestral home,” Hawke said.
  ]

When aunt Sybil Meier passed on the said property, without objections from other members of the family - the lady also passed on the custom of last carer of the owner owns the property. Thesawalamai law, applicable to Northern Tamils,  has prevented this by providing that the daughters inherit mother’s properties and sons father’s properties. Its extension is that sisters inherit from sisters and brothers from brothers. I learnt through preparations in a Vaddukoddai family matter - that the wording included words to the effect that this was to prevent those who took care at the last the last stages having the wealth written in their name. Effective this prevents the deterioration of belief based sharing.

The problems in the above case is due to lack of maintenance of belief based relationships which automatically confirm the structure of a belief. Belief looks after its structure.
In the above matter – the family did not feel belief in the family structure to take responsibility the moment  they knew that their relative was alone and unwell. Had the property been passed through a common ownership system – the caring for the custodian would have begun when she was not able to think and act independently.

My advice is, if we are donated such properties – we need to ensure they are first made common through law that is applicable to all concerned. Northern Judiciary failed to do this and this whereas Colombo Judiciary upheld its parallel in the case of our land in Colombo determined through Prescriptive rights. Even though I bought the property I respected the value of Prescriptive rights of a believer. I believe that Colombo judiciary delivered for me because I believed in Colombo also as did the judges. The believing minds merge naturally.

The Black-Dog in Sri Lankan Politics

My logic says that where there is victory there is also a loss. That same logic says that where one recognizes win and loss at the same level at the same time, one is an owner. Where one recognizes only one – in oneself and / or the other in another one confirms separation as well as Equality.

Every year the Sri Lankan government celebrates victory of the armed forces against Tamil militants who are/were  children of Tamil civilians. They do not celebrate victory against Sinhala militants in South. This confirms Separation. We do not need to prove it to anyone. The truth exists even when there are no supporters. To the extent we support truth it supports us with interest.

Article 2 of the Sri Lankan Constitution states:

The Republic of Sri Lanka is a Unitary State.

Where a government celebrates victory  against another group – it confirms that they are separated in that activity. If therefore Sri Lanka is to be a unitary state that would NOT happen under a government that celebrates victory against another part of the land called Sri Lanka. But given that minorities in areas where majority are of an alternate race, have no choice of  ‘seeing’ themselves through the government, their vote exercised through parties that have different / Diverse forms to that of the majority they confirm acceptance of that separation from the government celebrating victory only in a local fight. That confirms a structure that is Federal but one without a Common head. Yesterday, in a discussion with fellow Tamil professionals who are medical specialists - about God as the superior identity that we pray to, one expert concluded as follows:

[This is pure and simple mind over body. There is nothing called miracle or supernatural. Think rationally and one can tap his own mental power. But there is a limit. Of those who go to  a GP vast majority just recover even otherwise but we are impatient. On the other hand through mind we may be able to overcome some diseases or even kill ourselves. Even the so called faith healing is one such thing but such diseases are purely mental state and not physical.  Holy devil, chasing the devil, kattadiya, kapurala, soonium are all such stunts. No devil, no soonium except our foolishness to believe in such things. But convincing such believers is impossible. Convincing a lie is easier than convincing a truth.]

I explained my logic as follows:

[Vast majority known to me pray to God as a higher person. I still do at Nallur, Kathirgamam and many other temples. Even in a Court of Law – lawyers ‘pray’ to the Judge. The Spirit of law is more in the judge who is impartial than in the lawyers who are partial to their side. My path of prayer took me to the destination of realising the god within me – known as truth and/or love.
You say ‘Even the so called faith healing is one such thing but such diseases are purely mental state and not physical.’
Likewise psychological disorders. Since many are on medication  which is physical pathway – one is entitled to conclude that Western doctors lack the ability to heal mind to mind.
Once there was this guy – about 20 years of age who was brought to Radha Aiyer who was talking to me at the temple. The relative of the guy said that Maadan / Vairavar was in him. The guy said things to Radha Aiyer with injections of ‘I am not the one speaking’. Radha Aiyer said ‘I know; I know’. At the end of that talk –the guy and his relatives went away. I then asked Radha Aiyer whether he believed the guy. Radha Aiyer said yes but after a bad experience he stopped such healing. In that instance he said he was not fully immune and after the session – he and his wife had diarrhea . Radha Aiyer then pointed to the point on the floor where the said guy was standing and said that the waste was there. It was a small pool of dark blood. Radha Aiyer asked that it be washed away without anyone contaminating it. Radha Aiyer is respectful of me and from time to time seeks my blessings  especially in relation to his health. I believe what he said was true due to the direct observation.
This doctor in the program is referring to faith in mind power. The question I ask is what is the mind? As per my knowledge – mind is a combination of body and soul – as liquid is a combination of solid and gas – as force is a combination of matter and Energy. As per my experience – we connect to each other’s minds through our bodies. In any sovereign environment, the sum total of the Energies in these minds is that Judge called the God. Another name is Common-mind as in Commonwealth. Its importance was felt by leaders like Scott Morrison who prayed in Parliament at the beginning of the virus crisis. Was that superstitious? Not to me. The way belief works is through the People. I started wearing the mask this week to reinforce that Commonwealth that the government can draw on.]

The political system in democracy – confirms that Divine power which is known to us through each other at equal level. This is the parallel of Radha Aiyer above believing and understanding the language of that patient. At that level any knowledge – however clever it may seem will not work in that environment. Had I said anything about how someone is treated in the Western Medical system – I would have naturally opposed the local system. Likewise in law. Hence the ban on dual citizens holding law-making positions in a democracy.

A government that celebrates victory against another group confirms that it is foreign. We have the choice of accepting or rejecting it through our Universal Franchise.

As per the Hindu article headed ‘TNA faces biggest test in post-war decade as Sri Lanka gears up for election’, about a voter from an area where the Tamil Tigers had their Administrative headquarters:
“No matter who gets elected nothing changes in our lives. We vote because it’s our duty, not in eager anticipation that our situation will get better,” said Yesudas Jenova, seated outside her small home just outside Pallai town in Kilinochchi district. Jaffna and Kilinochchi together form one of the two northern electoral districts, while Vanni — including Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavuniya — is the other.”
As per my knowledge there is no lawful duty for the Sri Lankan citizen to exercise her/his vote. Hence where did this expression that it was one’s duty come from? It comes from the environment which believes in structured democracy which is an Administrative path inherited from our elders / ancestors. This confirms also that we do not believe in autocracy a professed in action by militants.
So who would successfully raise our belief from local to national and beyond – so we can continue to live in an environment that we believe in? There are indicators in the following section of the Hindu article:
[On the one hand is the TNA, which is witnessing heightened tensions within, seen in the vitriol targeting some contestants, and facing an increasingly sceptical electorate. On the other are critics of the TNA, including former Northern Province Chief Minister and retired Supreme Court judge C.V. Wigneswaran, who broke away from the Alliance, and the ACTC, led by lawyer-politician Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam — both known to have some support in urban Jaffna — who are contesting separately, as different camps.]

The separations happened due to the same reason as to why the government that actively professed Buddhism foremost and/or Sinhala only. Black-dogs cause depression of the mind. Lord Vairavar is a protecting Deity and is the Lord of Security. The vehicle of Lord Vairavar known as ‘Kaala Bhairavar’ - is the black dog – which is depression that automatically happens when we do not balance our desires with discipline. That is the way of Creation.

In the case of  former Supreme Court judge C.V. Wigneswaran – the value to Tamils and generally to Sri Lankans was strongly negative due to breach of the Doctrine of Separation of Powers. At that time every Tamil leader who discussed it with me was happy about the switch. But I expressed concerns about breaching the Doctrine. As per my memory – Mr Wigneswaran also was against such breach in the dismissal of the then Chief Justice Dr Shirani Bandaranayake. That dismissal happened in January 2013. In October, Mr Wigneswaran acted in breach by carrying the title of Justice as a politician. Had he not opposed the breach by the Rajapaksas – there would have been no black-dog following him into politics. The fact that he did confirms that he had the duty to follow it himself when he became a politician. That is the way karma works.

We often use such principles to get the right tick. But if someone is demoted due to our use then we become shareholders in that black-dog – which in this instance is in the form of Separation of Powers. Hence, to my mind, Mr Wigneswaran strengthened the force of Separation while claiming to unite North and East.

It is this black dog that infects those  in country side who are lured by the benefits by cheap politicians. The above example happened in a village where Mr Wigneswaran presided over the opening ceremony of a building built on stolen land. How can we then claim to have the right to evict armed forces who occupy Tamil areas beyond their  needs?

Finally what does this mean to us as a community and nation?

Relative to the SLFP and its new version SLPP – the UNP’s separation karma is limited to its party. When UNP and TNA form a political coalition – including as an opposition – we would prevent the Black-dog from entering our minds through the Parliament. Every Tamil needs to vote for either TNA that is now less affected by the Black-dog than in 2015, or UNP to preserve our ancestral political powers.
