All beliefs have heirs. Often, it is through the heirs that we learn the real structure of the parent. Truth that is discovered by one is carried beyond one’s lifetime, not necessarily by one’s biological children. Gandhi’s truth as practiced by Gandhi is carried by wider world – beyond Gandhi’s family  and nation. Whether good or bad, once truth is discovered and shared -  heirs, happen. That is the reality.

On 7 May 2022, I wrote under the title ‘ANOTHER JVP INSURRECTION?’ - Australian Tamil Management Service (austms.blogspot.com). On 15 May, when communicating with a Tamil Diaspora leader, I wrote as follows:

[As per the feedback I get, some in North are open to China. It is not new – considering that we already had the links through Communist Party as highlighted by you. Some as per my current communications play it both ways – pro India as well as pro China. However, majority are pro-UNP now also.

 India continues to invest actively in North but they lack majority support could also be due to IPKF experience.

 The encouraging part is the quiet support for protestors in the current situation. Not sure whether Sumanthiran’s suggestion to arrest MR is helpful. I reject it. Due Process must be followed at all times. That will bring us the blessings of all our ancestors. As of now, I feel that we are protected in North. ]

That community elder stated in response:

[I agree with you;  indeed , due process must be followed at all times: if not the state will descend into anarchy. The consensus of opinion here is that the JVP is at the moment behind the setting fire to the homes of supporters of  the SLPP . There are 17 universities in Sri Lanka now and 90% of the Sinhalese undergraduates are allied to the JVP & these undergraduates are awards of the locations of all legislators , SLPP, UNP et al - not the plebs .]

This article confirms as follows:

[Galle Face Protest is no more a “peaceful” and “non-partisan” agitation of “angry young men and women”. Now it is being led by the activists and front organisations of JVP and FSP]

The University of Jaffna is no exception to infiltration by rebel ideology. The question one needs to ask is whether the political genes have become common with university genes.

As per my discovery, where there is unjust discrimination through a man-made system, and it is left unaddressed beyond the victim’s lifetime in a particular institution or nation, the victim gets rewarded by another independent institution or nation. Then the karma returns to the one who practised discrimination that caused the pain. Then the latter’s home community gets restructured to a lower level. The test is therefore whether the victim’s community produces exceptionally talented heirs.

University students producing political outcomes are confirming unethical infiltration of politics into University system. But those who accepted the outcomes after doing their best – in their allocated position would be reborn in another institution/nation. That is how Truth solves all our problems.

Those who feel ownership would feel the indicators intuitively. This is how belief , unadulterated by external knowledge calms our minds – so we know what to do. We cannot ‘prove’ indicators but would know they are ‘right’ due to the balance they bring about. A true owner would therefore not fear outcomes but would know that they were bound to happen. This was confirmed yet again by the above mentioned article by Sena Thoradeniya, who shares as follows:

[In 1971, JVP launched a one-day armed insurrection to capture state power, overnight. They were so sure of capturing power, in one night, and did not have any alternative plan if the insurrection failed; all subsequent plans were mapped out by withdrawing men and women in combat fatigue themselves as a means of survival. The 1988-89 attacks took a different shape, beginning with the very crude and unrefined slogan in Sinhala, “JR Maramu” (Let’s kill JR) as opposed to euro-centric, polysemic hashtag, “GoGota Home”. “Unidentified gunmen” started the killing spree . Learning from their past mistakes, we observe that the JVP and its ally FSP are adopting a different strategy and tactics. Initially they have succeeded in becoming the leading force at Galle Face and other protest sites. It should be noted that these two rival factions have forged an alliance and have admitted that youth activists of the two parties already work together at the Galle Face protest site. This is no more than a marriage between a populist group and a group paying lip service to Marxism.]

 

The Tamil parallel  to “JR Maramu” (Let’s kill JR), was the actual killing of Tamil politicians by the LTTE. But most Tamils, including the media, are fearful of what happened – that they would rather find fault with the government than with the rebels. This is a way of sweeping our dirt under the carpet.  One such leader responded as follows to my yesterday’s article :

[There are couple of errors in your article, in the 2005 election LTTE did not forcibly restrain Tamils from voting resulting in Mahinda coming to power.

Other, do you know of any such stupid Tamils in America with millions to spare or anywhere outside Sri Lanka ready to trust the Buddhist Sinhala despot's and part with their hard-earned money. You can beg all your life from most of this so-called rich diaspora to contribute a few bucks for a project to support the hapless people in Vanni the answer will be a big NO.]

My response to this was :

[You state:

I was there in Vaddukoddai during the 2005 Presidential elections. The folks of Vaddukoddai demonstrated fear. They would not dare to override LTTE not due to belief in LTTE but due to fear.  The Wikipedia report confirms the reason. If you know otherwise, you have the duty to write to Wikipedia – revealing your source. May be your folks did not fear LTTE and refrained from voting due to their own free will. Or are you saying they voted? If so you have a greater duty to confirm that.

You state:

Raj Rajaratnam has made millions by avoiding due processes – as LTTE also did, under the cover of Freedom fighting. That ‘freedom’ was from law. They were ‘free’ of the law.  Raj declared that he sought to invest in Northern Sri Lanka. Then there is Allirajah Subaskaran who is reported by Wikipedia, to have ‘donated use of a call centre to Boris Johnson during his 2012 London mayoral election campaign’

 

These were not hard earned monies but are ruthless business monies accumulated by cheating the nations that gave them refuge. When taxes are not paid, the public get cheated.

If you believe  that some of us invest our hard earned and hard saved monies in North & East – through our own structures, you would appreciate that many do not believe that the Vanni folks need cash – but discipline and regulated structure. I see nothing wrong with their NO. It is ‘right’ towards establishing themselves in their new nations as law abiding citizens to weaken the terrorism fear. ]

These are indicators based and they help discipline the weak-minded who often get carried away by easy outcomes that are visible.

Sri Lanka as a whole is moving towards global takeovers due to damage to the sovereignty of the common Sri Lankan. Rural Sri Lankans who live within their means are the key to us redeeming ourselves from this mess.
