MONKEYS TO CHINA FOR VACCINES?
According to the Sri
Lankan President, Truth & Reconciliation Commission is very much on Sri
Lankan government’s mind, to address the Ethnic problem. To discover truth, one
has to go into virtual reality mode of the apparent victim. Towards this, such
a commission has to be headed by a Sri Lankan of Tamil origin. When we make our
primary level experiences a our source of respect, their values become
heritage. Rishi Sunak’s success in the UK is confirmation of this. Heritage is
true value.
The primary level Sri
Lankan war was in Truth between Sinhalese & Tamils, living in the place
called Sri Lanka. It was not between Sri Lankans.
Those who fail to pay
their dues to their primary home communities carry the ‘debt’ with them. This
‘debt’ becomes an ‘attachment’ to the past. Attachments promote relativity.
Renunciation of benefits lead to Indepence. It is to prevent dependence that we
need to develop heritages.
Only those who are Sri
Lankans have the natural authority of truth, to express judgment through Sri
Lankan laws. Only a Tamil will have access to another Tamil’s mind. In this
instance, given that as per our knowledge, more Tamils than Sinhalese suffered,
they get to lead.
Given also that the issue
has been raised to UN level, and given that the UNP government, under the
leadership of President J R Jayawardene became a si gnatory to ‘The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms
of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) in February 1982,
the current UNP President has the moral obligation to facilitate the application
of UN standards.
As per the recent
reports, the current government is planning on exporting to China, monkeys that
are native to Sri Lanka:
Though monkeys are imported for various reasons including for meat,
pets, zoos and circuses, the main reason for import of monkeys remains
medically related research including testing of drugs, vaccines ,
transplants and infectious diseases of the brain and other organs . Dr.

opinion expressed in this article with social responsibility aims to improve
the public awareness on this issue and is not related to his official positions.
As per Wikipedia
The generic name Macaca is from Portuguese macaco, of unclear origin, while sinica means "of China," even though the
species is not found there…….The toque macaque is listed as Endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) due to habitat destruction and hunting, and also
for the pet trade
The awareness
could come also through the Hindu pathway. As per the epic Ramayanam – Monkey god
Hanuman came to Lanka as Lord Rama’s messenger. Due to getting insulted by Ravana,
the then king of Lanka, Hanuman set many parts of Lanka on fire. During and after
the war, Hanuman worship in Sri Lanka, has strengthened considerably.
As per Dilmah Conversation about Toque
Macaque
They live in
troops, sometimes numbering up to 20 members, the dry zone subspecies has
earned the nickname “temple monkey” as they are commonly sighted in the Cultural
Triangle of Sri Lanka, where many ancient monuments including temples are
situated. This subspecies has been the subject of one of the longest
behavioural studies of any primate species conducted in the world.
One wonders
whether the export is to weaken Sri Lanka’s protection – especially the Indian protection?
