China for the People – America for the President

‘China is a country with a great diversity of religious beliefs. The main religions are Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestantism. Citizens of China may freely choose and express their religious beliefs, and make clear their religious affiliations. According to incomplete statistics, there are over 100 million followers of various religious faiths, more than 85,000 sites for religious activities, some 300,000 clergy and over 3,000 religious organizations throughout China. In addition, there are 74 religious schools and colleges run by religious organizations for training clerical personnel….

….The facts make it fully clear that remarkable improvements have been achieved in the situation of human rights of the Chinese people, and the freedom of religious belief has enjoyed full respect and legal protection since the founding of New China, particularly in the recent two decades following the implementation of reform and opening policies. The Chinese government will, as always, make ever-greater efforts to safeguard human rights and specifically to protect the freedom of religious belief.] – Embassy of China in USA - http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/zt/zjxy/t36492.htm

This is the national flag of our country which has five stars in a red background. Mandarin Chinese is the official language of China and here are some Chinese characters. Renminbi is the currency of China. We have a fast growing economy as we export, import and manufacture many goods. Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism are the major religions practised in our country. Over to you from here Ming. Thank you Yong. If you come to China, there are many things for you to see, learn and enjoy. Look at these pictures. They are the main tourist attractions of our country. This is the Great Wall of China. This is the Forbidden City, a world heritage site that you can see in Beijing. You may have seen pictures of these lovely animals. They are the giant Pandas, which are a threatened species. Our government along with its people are taking many steps to protect this endangered species. Yong, can you say something further about these tourist attractions?Activity 5, Unit 2 – English Text Book – Grade 10 – Sri Lanka

Jersey City is where I was born I woke up to see many a dawns It's not a bad city, it was a place to live But there were many times it didn't forgive The streets were tough, the winter's cold It's city you can embrace, but one you can never hold The streets will own you and rule you There's not too much one can do After some years you'll be ready to leave It will no longer have the things you need That's when you know it's time to leave Because in the city you can longer believe Now people grow up there and decide to stay But so many many more just go a different way 6-18-10/RJH Ray Hansel - Activity 11, Unit 2 – English Text Book – Grade 10 – Sri Lanka

The textbook in Sri Lanka lists Confucianism as a major religion of China. Not so the Embassy of China in USA

More importantly the Sri Lankan Text book in its body, glorifies China but downgrades New Jersey and therefore the USA. But our President did not migrate to China. He migrated to the USA

Wikipedia also has published the following about Sri Lanka:

[it is separated from the Indian subcontinent by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait. ]

Now, let us go to the latest breach of law by a Minister:

[The world marked the International Day of Prisoners on Sunday, a day ahead of the commencement of the Human Rights Council sessions. Providing a grizzly spectacle to the world was Sri Lanka with the Minister of State for Prisons, Lohan Ratwatte, armed with his pistol, walking into the Anuradhapura Prison and ordering two prisoners – Ganeshan Dharshan of Hatton and Mathiarasan Suklakshan from Nelliady (Jaffna) – to kneel before him. He had allegedly threatened to shoot them after pointing the pistol at them. Both prisoners were held under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.

State Minister Ratwatte later sent in his letter of resignation only from the post of Prison Reforms. Dated September 15, the two-paragraph letter said:

Firstly, I am thankful for having faith in me and giving me the State Ministerial post of Prison Management and Prisoners Rehabilitation Affairs at a time when the Prisons Department was in a crisis.

“Up to now I have successfully carried out the ministerial tasks. For the purpose of avoiding government facing a difficulty regarding the matters published in the media about the ministry, today (September15, 2021) I voluntarily resign from the State Ministry of Prison Management and Prisoners Rehabilitation Affairs. Therefore, with respect I seek your approval to resign.”] – Sunday Times

If the minister saw in his mind’s eye that he had successfully carried out his ministerial tasks, then as per the fundamentals of politics – he has the duty to stay on – as if that position were China – the attractive country. In other words – using Chinese culture – he would have stayed on.

In resigning, he uses the prison as if it were New Jersey where ‘people grow up and decide to stay But so many many more just go a different way

Where does this intelligence come from? The Grade 10 English book where the English downgrading sin is an invisible force. Like Corona virus, it is an exponential force if disturbed – as all nuclear forces are – be they positive or negative. Why is a sin? Because we continue to use English law more than Kandyan law of the Sinhalese. As they say – you get the behaviour you reward !
