TAMILS – MAJORITY POWER WITHIN MINORITIES

Recently,  a Vaddukoddai guy said to me that the Courts of Northern Sri Lanka did not uphold my interpretation of Thesawalamai Law. True. Neither did the Australian Courts uphold my interpretation of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975. Every law helps us give common form to our own contributions to or against common values in that environment. When we interpret the law genuinely – we invoke the environment in which that was true. Truth being eternal – receives our contribution and delivers the judgment – mind to mind. The Thesawalamai architects’ mind to my mind. This then helps me interpret those bound by that culture and identify with their truth raised to the power of Thewalamai. Likewise those from who we inherited the Racial Discrimination Act.
I believe that my book ‘Naan Australian’ became part of the National Library of Australia due to the gods having delivered where the Australian Judiciary failed. I find this to be the case in every strong relationship of mine – including biological family who are part of me by divine power. Hence, when the individual does not respond as per my true contribution to the relationship – god does. Knowing this, helps us to not give up the relationship / institution itself – when the individual fails.

I believe I connected to the mind of the original developers of Thesawalamai Law – through the testamentary case of my brother-in-law  Mr Subramaniam Yoganathan. My husband wanted the intestate estate to be settled as per Thesawalamai law. His sisters had custody of the documents and failed to keep my husband and his brother informed of it. Both sisters received Dowry from the common estate of the family and were therefore not entitled to any further share. The difference between Common law and Thesawalamai law as applicable to this matter was this Dowry. My husband sought Thesawalamai ruling because his sisters were ungrateful for the help rendered by him – in terms of their children. By seeking a Thesawalamai ruling he balanced that equation in the minds of those concerned. This was confirmed in his own mind for his own guidance in relation to those individuals who failed the relationship – after ‘taking’ the benefits of dowry.

Just because a law is there does not mean that it works automatically for us. Our actual entitlement is equal in value (cumulative) to our  contribution. On time basis – the longer it takes the higher the value – as in savings with interest. On lateral basis – the more persons  benefit  the stronger the return. Where the ‘intelligence’ of current learners is regulated – so they would balance their own experiences – the more exponential the return becomes. Hence the saying that the value of the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts.

Like Thesawalamai – the Constitution of Sri Lanka also responds to the true contributor – even though the Executive and the Judiciary may not deliver. Some divine indicators are known by such believers. They are like Key Performance Indicators which help regulate our operations to suit the inner minds of the institution / project. They are not for external purposes. Others with whom we share the experience would have the opportunity to share in our belief but when they take only the ‘benefit’ in their own areas of power – they would suffer the consequences of plagiarism.
As per  Republic Next article headed ‘To resolve minority issues, a president needs majority support of majority – SLPP’:

[Addressing the media today, SLPP spokesmen said the party’s presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa, supposedly enjoying widespread support in the Sinhalese community and being able to “speak to their hearts”,  will be able to resolve various issues faced by minority communities.]
This confirms lack of cognizance of  Tamils – majority within minorities – winning the Equal Opposition leadership in National Parliament – in 1977 and in 2015. Once we achieve that position – the highest level devolution of power is confirmed to have happened.  One who respects the People would not ‘forget’ this. One who forgets is not blessed by Sri Lanka’s ancestors.

The same medium has interestingly  published the article headed ‘Is Kurunegala losing its multicultural heritage?’. The article confirms as follows:

[The Kurunegala district is one place in Sri Lanka where the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa can expect a good chunk of votes and a clear majority.
After all, his elder brother, Opposition Leader Mahinda is the local Member of Parliament.
There is also another demographic factor that applies to this region.
Women’s activist Sumika Perera points out that a large percentage of the population have connections to the Security Forces and Police. Kurunegala “has a large number of war widows, disabled security forces personnel and current members of the armed forces,” Perera told RepublicNext in an interview.]

So the question arises as to why Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa shifted from Hambantota to Kurunegala? Subconscious or Conscious – did that move result in Mr Rajapaksa losing the opportunity to become Prime Minister in the 2015 Parliamentary elections?

The clue / indicator - is in the above mentioned article:
[Take the phenomenon of the worship of the local deity Galebandara, the son of King Buvenekabahu the First who reigned in the latter part of the 13th century from Kurunegala and his Muslim Queen Fatima.
Galebandara is worshipped at two places, a regular Kovil which attracts people of all faiths as well as at a Muslim shrine, where again people of faiths come for blessings.]

The following from Wikipedia gives one deeper insight into Kurunegala ancestry:

[Kurunegala had a citadel in the 13th century. Its ascendancy as an ancient capital of Sri Lanka began with a series of events that took place during the late 12th century at Yapahuwa. The sacred tooth relic which was in the Yapahuwa Kingdom was taken by an Aryacakravarti from the Jaffna Kingdom to the Pandyan country during the rule of Buwaneka Bahu I from 1272 to 1284. The relic was brought back by King Parakrama Bahu III who ruled from Kurunegala between 1287 and 1293. Over the next half a century Kurunegala was the capital and the governing centre for three other kings of Sri Lanka.]

I believe and often express that when someone  leaves their mortal coil the positive Energy in them would merge with those who contributed to that positive  – including through  respectable funerals / farewells and the negatives in them would merge with those who are indebted to them. Those true Energies are preserved in their homelands.

If therefore Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa was disrespectful of non-Buddhist cultures and their belief that they had the Natural Right to autonomy was he blessed or cursed by the royalty of Kurunegala? We know that Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa was successful in Hambantota where he established ‘Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport’ amongst other structures in his name.

The following is a Wikipedia presentation of Hambantota ancestry:

[After a personal dispute with his brother, King Devanampiyatissa of Anuradhapura, King Mahanaga established the Kingdom of Ruhuna in the south of the island. This region played a vital role in building the nation as well as nurturing the Sri Lankan Buddhist culture. Close to Hambantota, the large temple of Tissamaharama was built to house a sacred tooth relic.]

Any genuine Political leader of Hambantota would therefore be blessed by Buddhist Royal ancestors of that area. This power would have been lost when Mr Rajapaksa migrated  to Multicultural Kurunegala – probably because he wanted his son to be the royalty  there.

Article 16 of the Sri Lankan Constitution recognizes these ‘unwritten’ laws as follows:
[16. (1) All existing written law and unwritten law shall be valid and operative notwithstanding any inconsistency with the preceding provisions of this Chapter.

(2) The subjection of any person on the order of a competent court to any form of punishment recognized by any existing written law shall not be a contravention of the provisions of this Chapter.]

Kurunegala’s ancestry includes Pandiya  mind – albeit as Opposition to Sinhalese. The Eternal Queen of Pandiya Naadu/Land is Mother Meenatchi of Madurai. Since  Buddha was Indian taking the tooth from Sri Lanka to India was like taking it back ‘home’. One has to believe completely in Buddha to own that and therefore to possess it. That is the basis of law of Prescription applicable in Sri Lanka. Given that Lord Buddha renounced Royalty to become Buddha – no ruler in Sri Lanka has that prescriptive right to own Buddha’s sacred relics. That is the unwritten law of Truth applicable to any Buddhist nation.  Hindus and  Muslims who seek Royalty in Sri Lanka would be blessed by the ancestors of Kurunegala – to become Equal Opposition to Buddhist followers in power. Sivajilingam and Hizbulla in the current Presidential elections would thus dilute the power of the Rajapaksas of Kurunegala.
