Who is the boss of Undergraduates?

President Maithripala Sirisena said he had directed the IGP to take necessary action against those involved in ragging in universities with the co-ordination of university authorities.
Referring to the ragging by some students of the Peradeniya University, the President said it was a disgrace to free education and the universities for senior students to rag the freshers.
He said this when participating – Daily Mirror article - President-asks-IGP-to-look-into-Uni-ragging

The previous, blunder bussing Mahinda Rajapaksa regime, drunk with power, went to the other extreme, by adopting a distorted, perverted and perverse model of the Malaysian/Mahathir system in 'dealing' with undergraduates.
The Rajapaksa regime made it mandatory for all university freshers to undergo military training, allegedly leading to the deaths of a few of those, as a result. – Ceylon Today Editorial -

Under the Subjective system which most Academics are familiar with – hierarchical positioning is more important than objectively verifiable outcomes. A Master enjoys high status towards comfortable positioning – so that the student/servant does not need to learn and produce all outcomes from zero base. Common belief/faith facilitates this natural sharing of the system even though one is weaker than the other in contributing to the core-purposes of the Institution.- Australian Tamil Management Service article – Time Based Sovereignty

The above excerpts confirm that as per Sri Lankan Governments – past and current – Sri Lankan Universities are not capable of Self-Governance. The Ceylon Today Editor goes on to state:

Seats of learning, whether those are funded with taxpayers' money or not, or whether those be schools or universities, or for that matter vocational training institutes, should not be tainted by ragging.

I disagree. To the extent University education is funded by the Public – the structure needs to be to include Government conduct – so a graduate would get early training in following orders of seniors in Public Administration. An undergraduate who has to pay for her/his higher education would need to be independent of the Government.

When armed officers are called in to manage Universities’ internal affairs – it is better for the undergraduates to learn about the minds of the armed forces. Even in Australia, the University of New South Wales Management brought in armed officers to unlawfully arrest me for peaceful assembly – of the kind that inspired the New Indian Express article ‘Tamil Nadu’s apolitical Jallikattu stir inspires Sri Lankan Tamil agitators’.

The simple rule for one to take authority over another is that one ought to have sacrificed earned benefits/pleasure for another to enjoy.  When more than two parties are involved the sacrifices go into the Common Pool from which the other draws benefits and opportunities. That  Common Pool is the Government in terms of Public Affairs. The subjective powers of the University system are developed through sacrifices of low level benefits by Seniors in the system. Is it therefore appropriate for the armed forces to be called in to manage and internal issue? A University that uses armed forces until a wrong has been committed at public level – is declaring itself to be military-style in its management and such a management is unfit to manage a University that values Independence of the Individual mind. The graduates of such universities carry the risk of turning out to be military-style leaders – as many Sri Lankan Politicians turned out to  be.

The irony of all this is that when mothers whose children have disappeared due to army action are grieving, the Government and the Media are highlighting the plight of fresh-undergraduates who are not able to manage their seniors. Who is more entitled to the focus of the Government – these mothers who sacrificed to groom their children – only to lose them to the war or the undergraduates who would become tomorrow’s seniors? What is the alumni of the University of Peradeniya doing to fight against such bullying? It is time they sacrificed some of their leisure time to supervise their juniors during the period of transition. Dual citizenship needs to based on such demonstrated service to Mother Lanka.


It’s time students were required to contribute proportionately to their debt of education once they become employed – within or outside Sri Lanka. Without this settlement they are indebted to the Public and therefore are obliged to take orders from the Government. The dignity of any institution of higher education is demonstrated by the sense of  Self-Governance demonstrated by its graduates, staff and Governors. Those who undertake higher education merely for a living have to pay the full cost of their education.  Otherwise the University would become indebted to the taxpayers and all those who take lower position than the university educated in Public life.

Time based Sovereignty

British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill referred to Gandhi as the ‘half naked fakir’. That half naked fakir toppled the mighty British empire through his simple Truth. Gandhi himself dressed like the masses who suffered most due to ‘foreign’ rule. Those who are driven by subjective power without having actually earned it – would tend to use ‘loose’ information to deny credit to another. Information/Data needs to be passed through common theory to be valuable to the persons with whom our intelligence is shared. Doctorates are awarded to honor those who discover their own theories. Doctorates for lesser work lead   society that looks up to such persons towards ignorance. As Dr. David Garlick of the University of NSW said to me many times ‘We are ignorant that we are ignorant’.

Mr. Basil Fernando who is ready to judge the Caste system states in his Colombo Telegraph article ‘The Profound Impact Of Caste In Contemporary Sri Lanka’:

 [It is an uncontroversial fact that the social organization in pre-colonial Sri Lanka was based on the caste system…….. Punishment within the caste context has two components. Firstly, the punishment meted out to people from lower castes is disproportionate to the extreme. As it is taught through the Hindu myths, for example, an untouchable who is not supposed to learn meditation and the practices of yogis may be punished with death for doing so, as demonstrated in the story of Sambuka, or an untouchable boy who is not supposed to learn archery may have his thumb cut off for it.]

I learnt about the character Eklavya who seems to be the person being referred to as Sambuka by the author – through Mahabharatham – which is my Bible to learn about Political behavior. To me, the value derived from the Eklavya’s story is that the higher skills in governance are learnt through the subjective pathway – largely by attributing to our seniors for their discoveries and then adding our own work to claim credit. In nations like Australia, with high level of migrants and therefore multiculturalism, we need to give priority to zero base subjective power – and hence merit base is used on level platform. Equal Opportunity principles help us think at zero advantage level.

To understand and appreciate Eklavya’s story, we need to go into the environment and the system of governance that prevailed back then. The way a self-balancing place is considered to  be Sovereign – a time period during which a group within or beyond that land space would have been a Sovereign period. During the time of Mahabharatham – the land demarcations were different to what they are now.  We cannot therefore apply today’s rules in a particular nation, to judge the past when different measures were used to determine rights and wrongs. Eklavya being accepted as Indian cannot be judged through Sri Lankan. India and Sri Lanka were different nations back then also – as recorded through Ramayanam. One has to take on the mind-structure of Indian Government at that time to appreciate Ekalavya’s story.

Eklavya who was prince of  tribal group did not qualify to be tutored by Dronar – the guru of the Central Government of India – as per the rules of that time. It’s not different to the Chief Minister of Northern Province not being allocated equal status as the President of Sri Lanka. Karnan who was born within the royal family but before his virgin mother was officially married – was similarly denied such training and was not allowed to compete with Royal Princes. It is not different to Sri Lankan Chartered Accountant being considered to be of lower status than Australian Chartered Accountant. When I highlighted my experience – in this regard,  Mr. Basil Fernando demonstrated no identity with this. Hence the ignorance continues.

The fighting skills taught to Royal princes therefore carried on this common faith – just like the University system being higher than High School system. A high school student may have greater knowledge in a particular subject than a University student – but until one goes through the University system, this greater achievement is not   openly recognized.  Under the subjective system the mind of the father is part of the inheritance by the son and that of the mother is part of the inheritance of the daughter. Under the system of Thesawalamai – when the daughter got married and went to live with her husband’s family – she was given dowry to complete the relationship and take it has her motivational Energy – the same way we bring into this life the essence of our past – as genes. A daughter who receives dowry takes rebirth and is free of attachment to her old status and benefits. Likewise migrants when they leave their homeland and settle down in another part of the world. Now that the Sri Lankan government is awarding dual citizenship – those who return to Sri Lanka need to bring their overseas experience as Energy and not directly apply it as status.

Race when used by members of majority race is the parallel of the caste system of yesterday. Where the lower castes get status through majority rule – they need to take rebirth and carry their credits and debits of the past as net Energy which needs to be recognized and not consciously used. At Energy level – be it positive or negative as per current measures it’s Common and not particular. But those who are conscious of positives or negatives would carry them in their conscious mind and use it to ‘judge’ without ensuring that the other person has earned to be judged by that measure also. An Australian migrant who arrived in Australia before me and is part of the ruling race – would tend to use that as seniority – especially if s/he does not know about my contributions to that land. Hence the need for Equal Opportunity which places a limit on the base – that we inherit and carry forward. No express credit or debit could be allocated on the basis of Nationality for this reason. Yet – the Australian Judiciary did not punish the authorities – including Police Officers who labeled me as Sri Lankan despite my claim that I was Australian for legal purposes. Likewise here in Sri Lanka – a divorced woman is graded below another married woman despite her having married as per the law.  As a member of that profession what has Mr. Basil Fernando done to eliminate this inequality from his current profession?

Under Autocracy – we were allocated specific positions by seniors. Under Democracy – we share the Truth for which both sides need to take no merit as per their past. Project based management also requires such approach whereas Programs show least objective outcomes but are successful when the minds are connected. Caste system continues to be a program in areas of Northern Sri Lanka and India – where the lower caste need it. So long as it is not seen for official purposes and/or is complained about – we need to accept it as heritage value.
Here in Vaddukkoddai, even though I am of Farmer caste – I live with Toddy tapper community as part of them.   I knew intuitively that the caste based injustice contributed to the war – not only through Tamils but also Sinhalese. Hence I became one of them to learn the Truth. Many older folks here demonstrate respect for those of farmer caste – even though officially there is no caste system any more. I am demonstrating through my own conduct – that the higher caste also need to meet them half way – so they would become more democratic. If I am successful in my living here – then my mission to prevent unjust wars has been successfully completed.

Premature Democracy leads to infighting – as those who were elected without the higher mind order would tend to use reverse discrimination once they are in power. Our cleaner for example quietly extended his duties to wash the Deity in the altar – which is part of the duties of the Priest.  I disciplined him and said not to do the work of the Priest. Washing looks the same on the outside. But the priest chants mantras and trains himself to focus on the Deity and the minds of his elders whose Energies are carried through the Mantras and other ceremonial expressions. I believe that the contribution my parents made to this temple is still alive here and to the extent I believe in their positive value – I invoke such powers.


Last year during Thai Pongal farmer’s festival for example – young ones here upset me and I cancelled the planned ceremonies. This year I was in Australia and the same young ones tapped into our electricity system and played loud music again in the compound next to ours. I reported the matter to Vaddukkoddai Police and one of my students within the Police, undertook to warn them. Now the young ones do not loiter around the temple and it feels beautiful. This was achieved not only by me but also the confidence I felt in the knowledge that my father’s family carried high status in this part of Northern Province. Without such value – there is no heritage. To the extent caste facilitated the development of such heritage – it was of positive value.  Those doing manual work would take orders from their own seniors. Hence the separation by LTTE which led to development of skills that helped LTTE raise its status to that of the Official Army. Yet within themselves they were highly disciplined. LTTE pathway cannot be used by Politicians. So long as Democracy is working actively, we need this separation – either between skills or races. Caste is based on skills. One must not use abusers the judge the whole. Where caste is abused – my solution has been active development of Democratic systems – often by foregoing my earned status in current life. Where one idly criticizes – be it through caste, race or class - one’s own mind structure becomes disorderly.

Like in higher education, one may ‘quote’ giving reference to Caste , Race or Class system but not use it as an active measure in Democracy and v.v. when we adopt the Subjective system to quietly share.  One is a foreigner to the other.

Heritage Value of University of Jaffna


As per my experience in Australia, if one is true to the core purpose of a University – the University system  becomes the medium through which one’s Truth is manifested. The system may not even officially carry the name of University. But all those who participated in the process are that University.

It’s recruitment time again for the position of Vice Chancellor of University of Jaffna. The outgoing Vice Chancellor – who to my knowledge failed to demonstrate cleverness in Administration,  was able to go along with the political forces during this period of transition from autocracy to democracy. This includes the autocratic forces of the students. The common challenge faced by Northern Sri Lanka is to manage this transition without losing value. The most difficult values to remember are the ones that those before us and those far away from us invested in through that institution/place.

Recently my attention was drawn to a program in London where rebels objected to being labeled as ‘former combatants’. Whether it is right or wrong depends on the public position taken by the presenter and the receiver and the benefits they draw from the presentation on merit basis as per the measures applicable at that place at that time. To have the strength of our past we need to have Common faith – which in this instance is in Higher Education. Combatants who took up arms – to balance the ethnic equation by taking an eye for an eye – confirm that they did not have the support of educated Tamils who sought higher level solutions including Political solution.  Those rebels who stayed away from schools and universities to pursue their targets – are free of any curse from our ancestors who invested in higher pathways. But those who used students for lesser purposes – have the duty to stay away from the development of the higher pathways to self-governance, at least until they have made amends. Separating themselves as ‘former combatants’ is one way of doing this. They owe this duty to our ancestors.

The position of  Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna, is a strong  medium through which an independent observer would identify with the quality of the community that the University represents. It would confirm whether or not our community – through our representatives in the Governing Council - carry the core purposes of the University of Jaffna which include the carriage of its  heritage value. The best fit for the position of Vice Chancellor would demonstrate not only academic achievement but also the ability to invoke the support of the minds that render the institution its heritage value.  

The manifestations within a University happen due to diverse Energies. In some ways the freedom enjoyed by the University  is similar to Media Freedom. Where one takes a position, one has to satisfy the rules of the University system and have the discipline not to express the Truth until one’s duty as per the position is completed. Anyone can speak the Truth as per their belief but one who takes up official position needs to complete her/his duty before expressing her/his belief.
As per the Island Editorial headed - Noyahr, Lasantha, Thajudeen et al, the one who gives the orders is more responsible than the person/s acting as per those orders:

[Yesterday’s news that investigators have taken three serving military intelligence personnel over the 2008 abduction and torture of Keith Noyahr, Deputy Editor of the Nation newspaper, is most welcome. Earlier similar arrests were made over the assassination of Lasantha Wickrematunga, Editor of the Sunday Leader and the killing of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen. While the arrest of those actually responsible for these heinous crimes is well and good, it is more important to find out who assigned them the task of doing the dirty. Obviously the men now in custody had no motive to savagely attack their victims. But their bosses up in the hierarchy were serving the agendas of VVIPs. It is these persons rather than the actual perpetrators that must be apprehended and brought to book. While those responsible for the physical acts cannot be excused on the grounds that they were mere minions carrying our orders, those who issued the orders must be held accountable. That is imperative.]

The deeper one analyses, the greater the discovery of the Causal forces of an action/manifestation. In a subjective system is it fair to blame/punish one who acts as per orders more than the one who makes those orders from behind the scenes? Such forces are the parallels of heritage value mentioned above.  Is it fair to expect the average officer to risk his life by refusing to carry out orders?  The parallel for Rebels is whether they murdered those who were killed by their groups, as per the orders of Rebel leaders?  The subjective brain is structured to take orders from the Master. If one blames Rebel Leaders such as Velupillai Prabakaran – what about the Politicians who gave them the intelligence through Vaddukkoddai Resolution? Are they not guilty of  being blind to the consequence of their Declaration? The University of Jaffna was very much involved in this conflict and hence the Vice Chancellor needs to be a deep thinker than one who ‘shows’ clever thinking on current merit basis.

University of Jaffna carries the unique heritage of self-governance through higher education by the folks of Northern Sri Lanka.

As per Colombo Telegraph article – ‘Electing A VC At Jaffna University: A Window Into Erosion Of Quality In Sri Lankan University System’ in relation to the recruitment of a Vice Chancellor:

[The VC then reported that an absent council member Miss. Abimannasingham PC communicated another bit of legal advice over the phone that the late application ‘cannot be accepted’ because the advertisement says that the application should reach the registrar’s office by a certain date and time. But most lawyers would tell you that the advertisement does not create a rigid law barring the institution from considering a late application as Miss. Abimannasingham apparently suggested. The VC then recorded that the other five applications be sent to council members. Thiagalingam was thus excluded by a sleight of hand without actually saying so. The council members are themselves vague about what had happened.]
Jaffna lawyers as per my experience – are way behind global standards in terms of Legal Administration. Miss. Abimannasingham is well known for her commitment to Due Process. It is therefore understandable that she would use the rule to deliver judgment just as she said to me when I went to her for advice regarding our Testamentary case in which documents were withheld by our opposition – that we were entitled to Equal share. When I cited Section 7  of Thesawalamai law, the lady said words to the effect  ‘unless the unmarried son had consolidated his wealth with the parents’. One who was committed to the Legal heritage value of Thesawalamai – would have not needed my mind to bring that out. Hence the above ruling is likely to be different when asked by one who is committed to the heritage value of the University of Jaffna which confirms not only the investment made by those who studied there but more importantly all of us who successfully achieved the highest level of education within Sri Lanka despite the discriminatory Quota system. It’s that courage and determination that needs to be included in the primary duties of the Vice Chancellor.  There are many tests that would confirm the ability of an applicant to develop a structure that would confirm this heritage of Jaffna.

In the above Testamentary matter – my husband’s brother Mr. Subramaniam Yoganathan of Vaddukkoddai died a bachelor and all his sisters were given dowry. Direct application of Section 7 of Thesawalamai law confirms that  his property is the heritage of his brothers. Daughters who received dowry do not get share in the wealth  of father and sons. As per the laws of Thesawalamai – daughters could legitimately claim the dowry from their mother’s side. But they used the general basis of Equal distribution and declared that what they received was donation and not dowry. Thus they disowned their heritage value carried through the law of Thesawalamai. If even one person of this generation genuinely practiced the principles of Thesawalamai – then Thesawalamai will invoke Itself to deliver its own judgment. Many such confirmations were observed in the participants of the above matter. A law needs to show the connection between cause and effect.

The question that one needs to ask in the case of recruitment of Vice Chancellor for University of Jaffna  is why  Professor Thiagalingam did not foresee this possibility of late arrival – especially in the case of University of Jaffna where practice of  order is an important process through which premature freedom is expressed by students before they discover the Truth.   This kind of freedom is a menace that Jaffna suffers from largely due to armed rebellion overriding intellectual expressions – including within the University.

A Chef from this village in Vaddukkoddai said recently that when he was asked to teach young ones how to prepare some special dishes he had refused because those young ones were already behaving as if they were heroes and if he taught them the secrets – they would eliminate him as the ‘Boys’ eliminated their political rivals.

Did Professor Thiagalingam fail to include this weakness in determining the time of his application? Why did Professor Thiagalingam not send it by courier – as I do in the case of my Financial Reports to the authorities concerned. In the above Testamentary matter I had effectively 6 days in which to file our Appeal documents. That was due to the lack of commitment by our lawyer to obtain the Order of the primary court – dismissing our Objections to Equal Distribution. In the process our lawyer and another whom we thought of appointing for the Appeal, said that that decision was interlocutory and not final. Both wanted way above our budget to do the work. So, I prepared the Leave to Appeal documents as per Australian format known to me – organized a local representative to act as our General Attorney and couriered all papers which were filed one day before the deadline set by the legal system. Most of the work was done when I was in our lawyer daughter’s home in Melbourne where I went to honor my family’s contribution to Catholic education system. I felt strongly that I was supported by my daughter’s commitment to Due Process which she uses as current measure but to me it was my own investment in her becoming a lawyer that supported me to deliver on time. I thus bridged the gap between Jaffna system and Australian system through our Common Value. Hence I am able to identify with lack of commitment by Professor Thiagalingam to ensure that his application reached University of Jaffna within the stipulated time.

One who identifies with the needs of Jaffna would recognize the dangers in excusing the failure to satisfy this administrative requirement which could  be easily comprehended by the average officials and students. More importantly – I recognize the work of Divine Forces within University of Jaffna which was established to balance the ethnic inequality generated by the Sinhala Only, followed by the Quota system of entry to Universities doing Its own work to eliminate the applicant. Most entrants from rural areas of Northern Sri Lanka where the more educated teachers would prefer to stay away from, are now able to project on the basis of  placement, provided they achieve grades at least through the subjects that are particular to this area – for example Tamil Literature & Hindu Culture. Jaffna is not yet ready to be on Equal footing as Colombo University or Boston University, on academic merit basis – just as much as Deakin University which recently awarded an honorary doctorate to the Sri Lankan Prime Minister, is not measured at equal level as Sydney University.  The  danger with those of us who come with expectations to continue as per our ‘foreign’ records is this ‘gap’ which can only be filled by drawing on our own heritage where one is not ready to submit to higher foreign standards. The mistake that Nationalists often make is to relate prematurely to claim equality – by including the past as current achievements and worse  without due respect for the past. Both side leaders to this ethnic war failed due to this indiscriminate mix of heritage with current merit to claim equality or superiority.

As per Colombo Telegraph report:

[Prof. Thiagalingam, whose application was posted in the US on 27th December and received on 17th January, a day after the deadline, is an eminent scholar in Biomedical Sciences. An alumnus of the University of Jaffna, he is currently teaching in the School of Medicine in Boston University, USA]

The question is whether Professor Thiagalingam as alumnus of the University of Jaffna has identified with the Truth of Equal Opportunity practices at Boston University – to be able to identify with the Truth of University of Jaffna in  this regard. Only one who has, would be supported by Natural Forces of this particular University. Others who are clever may easily become influenced by the negative forces that dictate rather than facilitate intellectual freedom towards the Common investment in Higher Education. The test is not only for the candidates but also for the recruiters.


University of Jaffna is not yet free from the habit of expressing premature freedom, due to attachment to local benefits. Until at  least one recruiter has proven record of research into the University’s own makeup – the common rule needs to be followed and needs to be seen to be followed.   The late arrival might save Professor Thiagalingam from losing his status earned through other institutions. Divine Powers manifest in various forms to uphold the Truth where there is at least one seeker through the institution concerned. An academically outstanding Vice Chancellor would need the Equal partnership of an Administrator with Experience in Democracy to lead University of Jaffna to be free of its own ignorance due to strong attachment to local benefits of the past. The value of that past needs to be treated as heritage and respected to complete the experience so the value gets promoted to the higher Spiritual level. One who is capable of doing this has earned her/his doctorate. Others have merely copied the real ones’ outputs.

Who Developed Australia-Sri Lanka Partnership?

The ‘protests’ by Diaspora Tamils and Sinhalese respectively in Australia during the visit of Sri Lankan Prime Minister highlights similarity on the outside and commonness in wanting their own territories. The Ceylon Today news report headed ‘Protests in Melbourne Against PM’ states ‘what happened’ as follows:

Media observed that two groups of protesters were present at the venue peacefully demonstrating against two different topics.
The Sinhala Diaspora in Melbourne, Australia, who had occupied the road connecting to the Deakin Hall protested against the current government's plans to bring about a federalist system through a supposed new Constitution.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Diaspora group in Melbourne protested against the Premier, as well as the Deakin University. One slogan read, "Deakin University, do not award war criminals." Reporters also observed an individual wielding the red flag of the Liberation Tamil Tigers Eelam among the protesters.

Using the common language of the average human -  the word expressed is the  body and the core purpose is the nuclear soul  that influences the expression of words. It’s the soul connection that comes with universal connection – even though we may not consciously recognize it. The above demonstrations by Australians of Sri Lankan origin at the soul level – confirm the common message – that the two groups cannot live under one leadership – without Separation of  Powers. 

Sinhalese, as the majority race in Sri Lanka – are part of the group that forms Government and its Opposition in National Parliament. The  question one needs to raise therefore is ‘whether Sinhalese as a race have the moral authority to object to the elected Government outside Government process and that when they do so protest – whether they are saying that they made  a big  mistake in electing the current Government?’.

A citizen has to use her/his Truth to effectively diminish the status of an elected government. Truth/Soul of the citizen takes the place of  majority rule/body  of the government.  The government has the duty to listen to a citizen who has followed the official pathway more than the Government and that is when the nation is ready for a ‘user-pays’ system in relation to that facility.  The entitlement comes from practicing  the rule of the government more than the government itself. A citizen who is yet to reach this level through the official pathway, especially one living outside the affected country– has the duty to use her/his Truth and declare her/his independence of the parent.  Practice of rule leads to Administrative majority.

In the alternative, one could use Truth because  Truth is universal and hence such a person is supported by natural forces to uphold that person’s discovery including at lower levels of the structure. The closer we get to the Soul – the stronger our mental power and the less we rely on physical powers – including majority vote.  William Wordsworth shared with us his great discovery that the child was father of the man:
          My heart leaps up when I behold

The parallel of the above in relation to Politics is - the citizen being the father of the Government. Hence if the above group elected Government in Sri Lanka, then by protesting they are blaming themselves, except when they had protested against that government, through due processes and are dissatisfied and hence are indicating a change of government by protesting.

When Tamils on the other hand protest on the basis of their true experience – for example the experience that they went through during the war  as citizens and not as alternate government as LTTE did – the value is exponential due to the loss endured by civilians who did not have the authority to arm themselves and hence had to endure attacks by both sides. The citizen who fulfills her/his position role / duty – becomes a natural governor. I interpret the great poet’s words ‘Bound each to each by natural piety’, as confirmation of the above pathway, leading to Governance through Truth.

When I as a child was recipient of Truth by those in my environment through various relationships, I become the consolidated version of those values which prepare me to be eligible to give birth to another child an heir – of that very system. A project thus is the consolidated value of all projects that form a program. When a part of me is sick therefore it is the child of the person in whom I invested over the years. If I focus only on the sickness, without separating it from the main person I have invested in, my mind which sees only the sickness is not separate from the sickness. Intelligence which is Common Consolidated form of information – needs to be separated from the part about which we receive current information. When that current information is processed through that structure that represents the Consolidated Value – it becomes manageable and contributes towards maintenance of the big picture.

Australia-Sri Lanka relationship has been developed over many years and is a larger program than the current happenings through the two governments. The claim of Sinhalese Diaspora – is distinctly different in form to the claim by the Tamil Diaspora – confirming through this grouping,  the need for separation of powers as per this Natural Diversity. The words "Deakin University, do not award war criminals." confirms to me that my message of 14 February – also finding fault with Deakin University - has been commonly received by fellow Tamils – even though we may not recognize that we are connected through this true common purpose. Truth is natural and hence It connects naturally – with or without our recognition.

On the basis of Truth – Tamils and Sinhalese at group level – are Equal Governors of Sri Lanka. Hence Tamils became the official opposition in National Parliament due to natural forces. It is therefore no longer necessary for us to ask for Separation so long as the Government demonstrates respect for this Equal position. It’s when the Government fails to so demonstrate that we must continue to work for Separation of Powers. If for example – there was a war-crimes inquiry with 50% leadership made up of minorities – that would confirm our Sovereignty.  The Premier needs to give more thought to integrating the past experience into its current work practices – and not ignore the past when it comes to victims and recognize it when it comes to Terrorism. When the government continues to do that – it is the duty of the Tamil Opposition to highlight the ‘other’ side as Government’s Opposition – facilitated by Dharma Itself.


Those of us who through our true feelings  have been developing and maintaining the relationships between the two nations well before the two governments – are the soul power of the current  relationship.

Caste, Race & Australian Doctorate

Now that our Australian University has awarded the Honorary Doctorate to our Sri Lankan Prime Minister, including for Reconciliation efforts – it has become a Sri Lankan Responsibility to earn that credit through the academic pathway. It is also essential for Deakin University, our Australian University that assumed the Authority to award such an honor,  to earn that Authority through Research and/or Teaching the subject matter underpinning the causes of ethnicity based divisions and conflicts.  

The essential criterion for Reconciliation is independence confirmed by Equal status.  By recognizing the need for Reconciliation, we are also recognizing the need for Independence which is confirmed by allocation of equal status, until known otherwise through a common measure.  

Expressed in Common terms one could legitimately state that the Sri Lankan problem is about abuse of Subjective power. Hence one needs to keep digging deeper and deeper to know the structures that generate such powers. Subjective power is measured through the vertical line and democratic power is measured through the lateral line. Both cannot be measured effectively at the same time for the one person/group. If the answer through vertical measure is correct then when that answer is straightened to be flat – it would satisfy majority rule and v.v. This is highlighted through the following report by Viswamithra who goes into our past commonness as follows:

[As a matter of fact, caste dimensions were more protruding than those of race and faith. It was most unambiguously illustrated when the election of educated Ceylonese came about in 1911. According to the biography of J R Jayewardene of Sri Lanka, written by Professor K M de Silva, most of the prominent Sinhalese leaders at the time, such as D S Senanayake and Justice E W Jayewardene KC (J R Jayewardene’s father) persuaded Sir Ponnambalam who had retired from all public life to stand for election. The prime concern of the Ceylonese national leaders was caste and these so-called leaders of the Sinhalese masses were pressed to do this when Dr. Marcus Fernando, an eminent medical doctor who happened to be married to the daughter of Sir Charles de Soysa, the wealthiest Ceylonese of the second half of the nineteenth century, tendered his nomination. The disqualification in terms of the then Sinhalese leaders was caste. Sir Marcus belonged to Karava caste, considered to be lower than Govigama caste from which most of the Sinhalese leaders claimed to have hailed. Ponnambalam Ramanathan (later Sir) was elected with 1,645 votes with Dr. H Marcus Fernando, receiving 981 votes. The Sinhalese leaders at the time chose caste over race and a great number of Sinhalese voters too opted to vote for a Tamil rather than an established personality from amongst the Sinhalese elite.
One must realize one dominant element when negotiating with political, ethnic or whatever opponent. A personal relationship between the parties that negotiate would go a long way, a very long way indeed. The relationships between the Sinhalese and Tamil leaderships were not ideal or optimal at that time in the early years of the twentieth century, yet much stronger than now. Defection of Arunachalam, Ramanathan’s brother, scattered the seeds of disharmony and distrust, seeds of lack of genuine and sincere trust between the two ethnic groups at the highest level of respective leaderships. The Tamil leadership that assumed national recognition and power thereafter belonged to the other Ponnambalam, G G and the Chelvanayagams and Amirthalingams, now Sampanthan and Sumanthiran and Wignesvaran.]  Colombo Telegraph article Wigneswaran Is Not Helping the Tamil Cause

Caste based system was imported by Tamils as well as Sinhalese of Sri Lanka, from India – especially from South India.  The way it evolved in Sri Lanka varied as per the prevailing Sri Lankan forces. Indigenous Sri Lankans living close to the Land did not embrace the caste system which is more about Human Relationships as per the work performed by special groups. In the above report is included the following observation:

 As per my own discovery – our work produces outcomes / effects as follows:
(1)     Money
(2)     People – status plus goodwill
(3)     Ownership which influences us to naturally connect to fellow owners.

In religious terms – the above are (1) Body (2) Mind & (3) Soul.
Those who operate at Soul level – make natural connections with others who operate/d close to their Souls.

Hence in the above example, if one takes Sir Charles de Soysa to have done equal level of work as say Justice E W Jayewardene KC – and both showed it through their respective pathways - Sir Charles de Soysa through lateral economic growth and Justice E W Jayewardene KC through vertical higher status, both would of necessity need to be measured separately / independently and NOT through a Unitary measure.  The importance of each profession / trade is relative to the contribution by  its members – including those  whose body is no longer with the group. Within a University for example, the Toilet Cleaner (of Pariah caste) is of lower status than the Vice Chancellor (of Brahmin caste). This is due to the reason that  the minds that developed that University structure would have made greater contribution to develop the Vice Chancellor’s position than to develop the Pariah position – the tasks of which could be performed by almost any person but not those of the Vice Chancellor position. The latter requires sacrifice of immediate benefits to develop higher structures – similar to savings. Such positions would function to facilitate the welfare of all investors and hence the holder would need to be capable of seeing the big picture in the mind’s eye. Hence the wise would approve of a professional above business person in such positions. In traditional families – money transactions were given lesser importance than time based interactions for this reason. Money comes with the promise to divide internally towards premature freedom. In fact – internal checks divide and allocate responsibilities for cash handling due to this reason. Both sides to the Sri Lankan war fitted this essential criterion to divide.

Sinhalese who had greater opportunity to form government moved away from the caste system than did Tamils who were/are minorities under a ‘free’ system. The fact that we have our own customary laws – confirms/confirmed our diversity. To the extent we respect and include those diverse systems we are entitled to Separation of Powers. If we are to come under Unitary structure – then we need to first set aside all customary laws from the Common Sri Lankan system.


A true Academic would recognize this purity in logic. Over to you Dr. Ranil Wickremesinghe or whoever fits that Doctorate certificate from our Australian institution.  I myself had to forego my investment in positions strongly influenced by subjective powers of academics within the Australian Public Service and the University system, before successfully developing Democratic Resource Management systems. Had I been attached to my investment in those academics – I would have failed in my responsibility to develop democratic system. That was the sacrifice I had to make to develop laterally and take equal position as the Australian Prime Minister who relied on the old subjective system while enjoying the benefits of democracy. Nature supports the true seeker when there is a true need.

Buddhist Officials & Separatism

There is a Tamil saying that ‘one who sees the stone does not see god and one who sees god does not see stone.’  Nationalism likewise could be ‘seen’ or could be ‘realized’. The ‘seen’ is relative; the realized is absolute.

Ceylon Today’s Editorial under subject matter ‘Rising separatism, racism’ includes the following in relation to Sri Lankan Constitution:

‘The Constitution says that no person (citizen of Sri Lanka in this instance) shall, directly or indirectly, in or outside Sri Lanka, support, espouse, promote, finance, encourage or advocate the establishment of a separate State within the territory of Sri Lanka ………… Article 157A of the Constitution eschews separatism ………… the Constitution clearly says that every member of, or person in the service of Parliament or local authority, development council, pradeshiya mandalaya, gramodaya mandalaya or public corporation and every Attorney-at-Law shall swear to uphold the Constitution.
Given that Article 9 of the Constitution requires ‘The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(1)(e).’, it will be interesting to learn as to how the above Public officials would uphold the Constitution in relation to Non-Buddhists?

In essence as per the above, a Sri Lankan has to uphold Dharma / Righteousness in addition to upholding the secular law. One who fails to so uphold Dharma fails the primary test to qualify as a Sri Lankan. Dharma when upheld purifies and  enriches the Place and Time of its practice. Effectively – the Constitution is the mind of those who gave form to it. If the Buddhist leaders had genuinely followed Article 9 and the Land did suffer a terrible war – one is entitled to conclude that Article 9 was not based on Truth discovered by Sri Lankans or that Natural forces against Article 9 are stronger than those that uphold Article 9.

In essence Article 157A contradicts Article 9 through which Sri Lanka is declared a Buddhist State and all others are minorities who are ‘allowed’/ ‘protected’ by majority to practice their respective religions.   The provisions in the Constitution must flow from Truth and/or be based on Common Theory that would lead to Common Values. The former would naturally unite the group living in that area. The latter would separate the group if abused for selfish reasons due to which a true practitioner of Dharma is disrespected. One develops structures through a combination of Belief and Demonstrated Merit. One has to have a still mind to share the structures of higher  minds. Articles 9 and 157A are lacking in Belief in the land called Sri Lanka.

To govern Northern Sri Lanka for example one would need to believe in all those to whom Northern Sri Lanka is ‘home’. This could have been achieved through various religions, including Hinduism but not limited to Hinduism. One does not need knowledge of the Constitution to believe that a place is her/his home. One needs such knowledge to demonstrate merit as higher thinker. But to Believe – one needs her/his own inner Truth. A law that contradicts such Belief based expressions is wrong for that place at that time.

As per the Ceylon Today editorial:

It is in this backdrop that one has to look at 'Eluha' Tamil or 'Arise Tamil' campaign carried out by Northern Province (NP) Chief Minister (CM) C.V. Wigneswaran recently (See Ceylon Today's issue of 11 February 2017).
Among Wigneswaran's/Tamil People's Council's (TPC's)-which he leads, proposals was: '...the need of preventing the Indian fishermen and the Southern fishermen of Sri Lanka coming into the Northern waters...'
While no one is contesting the fact that Indian fishers should not be allowed to fish in the northern waters, or for that matter on any of the island's coastal or territorial waters, what is contentious is the CM's/TPC's demand to stop southern fishers from fishing in the northern waters.’

If Dharma is to protect Sri Lanka then all non-Buddhists have to form their own borders of Sovereignty and expressly demonstrate their authority in Executing their own plans towards realization of ownership common to their territory. It’s not different to the Separation of Powers between the Executive Government and the Judiciary. The purpose is Sovereignty of that particular institution/group as per its own core purposes. The above decision by the Tamil People’s Council, if based on Truth already realized – would unite Northern Tamils as a group or if it is theory – would facilitate privacy for Northerners to realize ownership in Sri Lankan waters through Northern waters – the same way Sri Lankan Judiciary realize ownership in Sri Lankan Governance independent of the Executive Government. Separation would seem an offence to those who seek obedience without Belief.  

Take for example the following news by AAP:

Sri Lanka's prime minister is set to receive an honorary doctorate on the first day of his official visit to Australia.Deakin University is set to honour the Sri Lankan prime minister ahead of talks with Malcolm Turnbull.

As an Australian I am against such award to one who has not confirmed belief in Australia nor demonstrated commitment to Research & Teaching which I believe are the core purposes of any University. As per the above news report:

[The award recognises his efforts to help Sri Lanka transition from a country traumatised by protracted, violent conflict toward a stable democracy.
"Mr Wickremesinghe has emphasised the need for reconciliation, whilst ensuring accountability, and enabled groups riven by conflict to find common ground in a more hopeful future," a Deakin University spokeswoman told AAP.]

There are many others including myself, with belief in Australia – who have contributed towards Sri Lanka’s Democracy. Until Mr. Wickremesinghe openly confirms opposition to Article 9 of the Sri Lankan Constitution as per his knowledge of Democracy and Separation of Powers where there is strong diversity – he is not eligible to this award.  Eddie Mabo the Australian who earned such honor invoked the following from his group:

Constitutional recognition is so important because it is about recognition of Aboriginal heritage, our connection to country and our rights as Australia’s First Peoples.
“Racism, discrimination and a lack of respect and recognition have terrible and lasting impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s mental health and social wellbeing.”
National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) Chair, Matthew Cooke


Article 9 of  Sri Lankan Constitution is the parallel of White Australia Policy against which Eddie Mabo fought and won on behalf of all minorities. Australian institutions honoring foreigners committed to their local culture are going back to White Australia Culture. They lack the authority to award such credits in the name of Democracy, Multiculturalism and Reconciliation.

The Common Mind

The Sirisena-Wickremesinge government in Sri Lanka will give priority to drafting a new constitution for the country over setting up war crimes accountability mechanisms like the Judicial Mechanism and the Truth-Seeking Commission, Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera said here on Tuesday.’  The New Indian Express


All my friends either in UK or in SL make me happy. that is why they are referred to as "friends".   I don't categorise them Indian, Sri Lankan, Sinhalese , Tamil or whatever because what matters to me is their friendship not their race, religion or other differences. I look at everyone as human beings.’ A Professional Colleague and friend

I responded as follows to the above:

In terms of relationships - you need some physical diversity to form relationships. As your friend - I do not need that. But then unless you show some interest in my current work I would not feel that I am needed by you. Hence I would live off our past commonness. The diversity makes the relationship interesting. So I would continue to see you as Sinhalese to the extent I present myself as Tamil. That opposition completes our contribution to satisfy the CURRENT needs of SRI LANKA which are far more important to me than my personal pleasures and pains.

Truth without relativity is the basis of friendship. Where this Truth is given form, a new relationship evolves with that Truth as the base. If the environment that we are a part of does not need to see the various structures that we are part of – as family, as professionals and as citizens – we are free to remain within that friendship. But where there is such a need – in our home-environment friendships are luxuries that we cannot afford. When I learnt about Gandhi, excluding his friend Priest Charles Andrews from certain activities – I felt that that was not fair. But now  with deeper insight into the issue of self-governance at national level – I am able to appreciate that such is necessary when we are following the bottom-up pathway. The average mind cannot deal with two different looking rules at the same time. Hence there is need for separation at the Lowest Common Denominator within which one does not need to consciously calculate merit based credits and debits but could use the simple method of majority rule.  Within the Common base we are all Equals. Anyone who discriminates on the basis of diversity  and draws benefits as member of the Common Base – is guilty of false claim to hold that membership. In the above example, if I were claiming to have become  Sri Lankan through Sri Lankan Common Laws – then it would be wrong of me to claim that I am a Tamil  foremost. In other words whether Tamil is my first name or surname. Both are right for different persons but not for the same person at that time.

Yesterday, when the matter regarding our Brother Subramaniam Yoganathan’s Intestate Estate before the Jaffna High Court – the opposition lawyer said words to the effect that his side was seeking Certificates of Heirship only and not Administration because majority of the Estate was in Barclay’s Bank – UK and therefore came under UK Administration. The opposition counsel from Colombo, thus made the Jaffna Courts – Kangaroo Courts described as follows by Wikipedia:

A kangaroo court is a judicial tribunal or assembly that blatantly disregards recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing in the territory within which it resides. The term may also apply to a court held by a legitimate judicial authority who intentionally disregards the court's legal or ethical obligations.
A kangaroo court is often held to give the appearance of a fair and just trial, even though the verdict has in reality already been decided before the trial has begun. This could be because of the biases of the decision-maker, or because the structure and operation of the forum result in an inferior brand of adjudication. A common example of this is when institutional disputants ("repeat players") have excessive and unfair structural advantages over individual disputants ("one-shot players").

The Primary Court of Mallakam was largely a Kangaroo Court due to legal fraternity taking over the case which earned reprimand from the first Judge – the Hon K. Ariyanayagam who pronounced on Australia Day 2012 – that he would not have the lawyers conducting their own Courts outside that Courthouse. That morning before leaving for the Courts – I paid my respects  to my Australian Judicial Ancestors who made it possible for me learn about the Common Global system in Legal Administration. When his honor spoke – I took that as the return for my investment in that system which has in Common with Sri Lanka, the British investment in Law.

The Colombo based Tamil lawyer seemed unfamiliar with the provisions of Thesawalamai – particular to Jaffna Tamils. As per my understanding the counsel said that his side  sought the  ruling of Northern Sri Lankan Courts due to the provisions of Thesawalamai. If that were the case – the Administrative ruling ought to have commenced by now in the UK – given their understanding that there was no reciprocal arrangement between the two nations. Where there is Commonness – such reciprocal arrangements need to exist to facilitate efficiency of process and economy of resources.

When we replace the parties concerned with the Sri Lankan Government and the Tamil Community – in relation to war crimes, one needs to ask the question as to the level of Commonness accepted between:
(1)    the  Tamil Community and the Sri Lankan Government – both sides being strongly influenced by their respective Customary Laws and habits.
(2)   The Sri Lankan Judiciary and the UN  or the country from which a particular ‘foreign judge’ comes.

Given that Lord Buddha is celebrated due to his discovery of Eternity – the provisions of Article 9 which allocates Buddhism ‘foremost’ status - need to have been set in motion by now, to discover the Truth that drove the manifestations during the war. To therefore allocate Truth-seeking mechanism lesser importance than giving form to a new constitution – confirms lack of faith in Buddhism as a pathway to Truth  and commitment to Article 9 of the Constitution. This confirms also that the laws through which rebels who acted as per their own True experience were morally wrong for Sri Lankans – be they Sinhalese JVP or Tamil LTTE. Unless Truth becomes the basis of our Constitutional changes – we would continue to be dictated to by the more powerful players – armed with guns and money power. Minorities are entitled to seek global support to maintain their Balance of Powers with the Government. That is essential in Democracy which requires equal footing on which merit based relationships are functional and effective or diversity is practiced.


Where the laws are Common we have the right to hierarchical relationships and therefore unitary state. When the practice seems similar on the outside – and we live in the same place,  we become two poles  repelling each other and making the nation revolve around its own axis. Then others would learn from us.  If there is to be a local inquiry into war crimes – the common intellectual value must be Equally shared by Tamils and Sinhalese or if it is taken as Terrorism – then between Government and the People. Where this is not facilitated – the new constitution is another way to distract the attention of weak investors in self-governance. Such will lead to ‘invasion’ of foreigners which has already started happening not only due to Government – but also due to those who fail to replenish the resources through which they made themselves comfortable and resort to presenting negligence as globalism.

Hindu Celebration of Independence

Most religions effectively lead to the message that we are not the body but the soul. As per my discovery other names for ‘Soul’ are Truth, Love, God, Absolute and Sovereignty/Independence.

Taking this as Reliable – one could conclude that one who identifies with her/his Soul is a Uniting Power. At National level – the Soul of a Nation is the Independence felt by its People.

On Australia Day, when I wished our  grandchildren Happy Australia Day – the eldest said that according to her Dad – our son – it was Invasion Day – which I interpreted as an expression of his identity with Indigenous Australians. Such identity could be Natural due to experience and/or Intellectual Order to maintain the Balance of Equality needed by Democratic Australia. In our son’s case – I feel it is, to a degree - Natural due to his faith in family which includes me and therefore my identity with Indigenous minorities driven by Natural Powers. I believe that it is also strongly influenced by his intellectual development to maintain the Balance of Powers in his own life.

In Sri Lanka, we celebrate Independence Day, on 04 February. Minorities who respect the Constitution would not be able to sincerely identify with such celebrations as they would intellectually recognize the imbalance of ‘Buddhism Foremost’ – replacing British rule. To therefore appreciate and identify with Independence – today – 04 February 2017, religious minorities would need to ‘free’ ourselves of the Constitution and its messengers and resort to our own religious pathways to balance the inequality in the Constitution. We would need to do this as per our belief that we are Free Sri Lankans.

On Thursday – 02 February,  I had this experience at the Hindu temples in Colombo 6 where devotees celebrated both winners of Global Award for around the world travel– Ganesh the Intellectual winner as well as Murugan – the Democratic merit based winner by actual performance and self-declaration. I was particularly interested in identifying with Murugan celebrations through Shashti Poojah – Prayers of Protection of Divinity – due to my investment in Airlanka / Sri Lankan Airlines which to my mind based on  my experience, is Murugan’s vehicle, confirmed by the Peacock logo. Every Independent person is free to render her/his own form to her/his Belief.

As is my usual way, I went to the temple, without any knowledge-based plans but rather my inner urge to go to the temple on this particular day being special due to family reasons. I prayed especially for my investment in Airlanka – which to my mind is a global example that Sri Lanka needs. I attributed the timing to my feeling of ownership – and hence the Natural merger of my investment in Family, Hinduism and in Sri Lanka’s National carrier.   Natural mergers happen through Commonness we feel even if we are a minority of one (Gandhi). Had I consciously planned – that visit would have been like the Constitution with its Buddhism foremost provision leading to self-governance through Buddhist pathway for politicians. In my case that would have been the Hindu pathway – as in Siva Sena Movement working to protect the Sovereignty of Hindus.

Applying this to the question of War-Crimes inquiry – it is highly likely that those who seek to keep the Buddhism foremost provision in the Constitution would not want International experience but rather the local intellectual inquiry through Buddhist pathway. But how would Tamils – especially those who produced the LTTE members, free themselves of violence -  through such an inquiry?  The latest news reports in this regard present the Northern picture as follows:

The Chief Minister of Sri Lanka Tamil-majority Northern Province C.V.Wigneswaran has suggested that the Northern Provincial Council (NPC) explore the legal possibility of instituting its own independent war crimes accountability mechanism in the absence of an international judicial mechanism recommended by the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in September 2015.
Wigneswaran said this on Monday while speaking at a function in Vattakandaal Tamil Mixed School in Mannar district, where 60 to 70 people including Principal V.Sundaramoorthy and teachers T.Mahendiran and S.Ratnadurai were gunned down by the Sri Lanka Army on January 30, 1985.
The Chief Minister asked the Leader of the Opposition in the NPC, Sinnadurai Thavarajah, who is also a lawyer, to look into the legal aspect of his proposal and report. The memorial function was organized by Thavarajah as his sister’s husband was among those massacred in the school.

Even though the Hon Sinnadurai Thavarajah is the Leader of the Opposition in the NPC (Northern Provincial Council), his suffering at family level – has led to experience based merger with the Chief Minister the Hon C.V. Wigneswaran. Neither being Buddhist, to my mind, they  seem to be led to the International pathway during this anniversary of Independence. In effect the war-crimes inquiry is also celebration of Independence from Buddhists. Natural Forces cannot be controlled by even the person of highest authority. One must merge with Natural Forces to manage them and empower ourselves.

If one sets aside emotional attachments to names – the issue is about Common faith and the form we render that Common faith. An international inquiry into the conduct of LTTE during the war would identify the weaknesses in Tamil Governance by Tamils which is now given form through Northern Provincial Council. Where the Constitution fails to satisfy the requirements of Non-Buddhists – those who actively practice their respective religions have the Freedom of choice to include international resources to discover the Truth through global level inquiry. Tamils may not have the power to deliver direct compensation or punishment due to such inquiry. But every unit of Energy will produce global outcomes – especially in terms of global sharing of Tamil Intelligence.

Pleasure and Pain when experienced by the one person/group of one faith – confirms self-governance / Independence. When one experiences pain at the same time another experiences pleasure they do not become One Self Governing group until the roles are reversed at a later time. This reversal is yet to happen in the case of significant portion of Tamils. Given that majority Tamils suffered more pain and enjoyed less  pleasures than the Sinhalese, due to this war – Tamils are less likely than Sinhalese, to fear global inquiry through the secular pathway. Lord Muruga is known also as Deva Senathipathi -  the General of Divine Forces. Divine Forces are those who conduct themselves through highest order / law.


Hence the Independence Day celebrations confirm  also the successful merger of Sri Lankan minds with Global Forces through the determination of Tamil Leaders to conduct war-inquiry – with Lord Muruga saying ‘Why Fear When I am Here’. One who is focused on correcting the mental order is already a winner. One driven by outcomes – misses out on the opportunity to be Independent.
